I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cassia Restaurant and indulging in a scrumptious culinary experience. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with a wide range of delightful dishes.
During my visit, I had the opportunity to try several items, including Appam with Veg Stew, Bread Omelet, Cold Coffee, Lime Soda, and Tea. Each dish and beverage left a lasting impression with their flavors and presentation.
The Appam with Veg Stew was a standout dish. The appam, a traditional South Indian pancake, was light, fluffy, and had a slightly tangy flavor. It served as a perfect accompaniment to the flavorful and aromatic veg stew. The stew consisted of a variety of vegetables cooked in a rich and creamy coconut milk base, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.
The Bread Omelet was a satisfying and comforting choice. The omelet was perfectly cooked, with a fluffy texture and a filling of fresh vegetables and spices. It was served with toasted bread, adding a crunchy element to the dish. This classic combination made for a delicious and hearty meal option.
For beverages, the Cold Coffee was a refreshing treat. It was creamy, with a balanced sweetness and a rich coffee flavor. It provided the perfect pick-me-up on a warm day. The Lime Soda was tangy and effervescent, offering a delightful citrusy twist. The Tea was served piping hot and had a comforting and soothing effect.
The service at Cassia Restaurant was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff members who ensured a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Whether you're looking for a satisfying breakfast or a quick beverage, Cassia Restaurant offers a delightful array of options. The flavors are authentic, and the quality of ingredients is evident in every dish. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes.
In conclusion, I highly recommend visiting Cassia Restaurant for a scrumptious culinary experience. Whether you choose the Appam with Veg Stew, Bread Omelet, Cold Coffee, Lime Soda, or Tea, you're in for a treat. Enjoy the warm hospitality, inviting ambiance, and the mouthwatering flavors that Cassia Restaurant...
Read moreOverview: This place is seriously amazing. While we were looking for something to eat in North Indian taste while sitting in Marari Beach, I didn't expect this to have north indian taste. I just considered the ambience and went with my friends before returning to our Pozhiyoram Beach Resort.
Quality: Food quality is very good and matches the taste of North India (we tried only north indian food). M sure they would have ensured other regional tastes as well for regional foods.
Price: I didn't feel being overpriced. Getting this quality at this place was good for me.
Staff: Friendly and supportive staff who assist you for anything you ask.
Water: They don't have regular water. Only bottled. This was pressurizing myself to reduce a star. However, due to other impressive reasons, I am giving 5 stars ✨. They give you hot water on demand without questions.
Location: Being on the main road, accessibility is good. However they have a small sign board and hence you need to follow the map. Otherwise you could miss out the board.
Ambience: As described above, ambience is good. Sufficient lighting is ensured in and out.
Comfort: Proper seating arrangements are there on the ground level as well as on the upper level. Each corner has an AC unit which cools down your table sufficiently. You can ask the staff to match your requirements.
Washroom: Very nice, clean and maintained washrooms are outside of the hotel on the ground level. Separate washrooms are there for men and women.
Handwash: Three clean washbasins are present in the middle of the washrooms. In addition, they have a good and thick handwash liquid. Plus tissue papers are available for you to dry your hands near the handwash area.
Parking 🅿 : Ample space is available for parking outside of the hotel (within their compound). Security person is there who can assist you if need be.
Conclusion: Overall i had a very nice experience. Our group was so much happy with the taste that we went their twice. Would...

Location: NH-47, Kommady, Alappuzha, Kerala, India Cuisine: Indian, Asian Facility: EV Charging (powered by Zeon) Ambience: Great Clean Washrooms: Yes Price Range: ₹₹ - ₹₹₹ (Moderate to Expensive)
Overview:
Cassia Restaurant, nestled along NH-47, offers a delightful blend of traditional Kerala flavors and modern amenities. Let’s explore the highs and lows of this culinary haven.
The Highs:
EV Charging Facility: Cassia stands out for its eco-conscious approach. The provision to charge your electric vehicle powered by Zeon is commendable.
Ambience: The restaurant’s architecture and serene surroundings create a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Clean Washrooms: Hygiene matters, and Cassia ensures a comfortable experience for diners.
The Lows:
Breakfast Disappointment: Unfortunately, our breakfast experience fell short. The dosas were below average, accompanied by tasteless chutney. The porottas were stiff, lacking the expected softness. Only the Appam managed to rise above mediocrity.
Veg Kurma Letdown: The veg kurma was a complete failure—lacking flavor and execution.
Mixed Verdict on Egg Dishes: While the egg roast and egg curry were edible, they didn’t leave a lasting impression.
Recommendations:
Lunch: Cassia shines during lunch hours. Opt for their Kerala-style meals (Thali) for an authentic and tasty experience.
Avoid Breakfast: If you’re considering breakfast, choose wisely. Stick to lunch or dinner for a more satisfying meal.
Family-Friendly:
Cassia caters to families, offering toddler-friendly amenities like high chairs and cradles. Bring the little ones along—they’ll be well taken care of.
