I cannot praise more about the ambience. The location is very nice. However, if you are going on a sunny day for lunch, the glass windows are going to impact the temperature inside the restaurant.

With regards to service, they were really fast in serving food. We went for 'Chatty Chor', 'Kizhi Parotta' and Chicken Noodles. There were options for the kids to play some board games like snake and ladder and Ludo until the food arrived. As soon as the food is served, they will take away all the toys...

However, for food review, I would say it would need to go a long way for someone like me to start liking the food. I was surprised to see Kizhi parotta and Chicken Noodles to be in "yellow" color. I then assumed that the color is because they put in turmeric in almost anything... except for rice. I felt the taste to be more associated with the south of Kerala with thoran with chatty chor to be really tender. They half cook the vegetables to just bring it out from the raw condition so you will feel the tenderness when you bite the vegetable pieces. Again... Fish curry which came with rice had tomato puree, which is unseen in Kottayam kudampuli fish curry. Other than these things standing out, I would say it could have been a little better.

But considering this to be a constructive feedback, Chef Nalan can go a long way with minor...

To say the least about our dining experience, it was very pathetic.service men was good but the food was absolutely horrible. The chicken we ordered smelt horrible and the chicken wasn't even cut properly. Small pieces of bone was even in the MASALA of the chicken. I don't know why the hell this place is called a "Culinary academy". Because of the improperly cut chicken one of the bones got WEDGED into my small brothers teeth. The pain was simply indescribable. On top of all this the toilets weren't functioning properly and the AC wasn't working,No menu .Imagine eating food that hurts you on top of this heat. The chicken obviously was musty. Never coming back here again. The cherry on top was that the slogan literally says "Dine Like a King". I honestly felt that was killing me every time I looking at that.we traveled almost 50 km to here just to experience this.Never believe from any reel or influencers.while eating this abomination of a meal. To wash this all down we decided to get a milk sarbath and let me tell you that was the LAST THING I HAD FAITH IN. It was also horrible. Would never recommend this...

We recently decided to have lunch at Chef NALAN CULINARY ACADEMY & Hospitality, enticed by the impressive ambiance, setup, and the numerous pictures of the chef with various celebrities adorning the walls. The place certainly projects a grand image and promises an extraordinary dining experience. However, our experience was quite the opposite.

We ordered the "oonu," expecting a delicious and authentic meal, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The fish served was not only small in portion but also lacked flavor. It was far from the quality we anticipated, especially considering the restaurant’s reputation.

To make matters worse, the bathrooms were broken down and not clean, which added to the overall unpleasant experience. It's disappointing that such a highly regarded establishment fails to maintain basic hygiene standards.

Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money, and I wouldn't recommend dining here if you’re expecting a satisfying meal. The hype surrounding this place doesn't seem to translate into the quality of the food served. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better...

We were there at 12.30, told it would take 30 minutes for chattichoru and chicken kizhi (which some of us wanted) and only beef kizhi (both biriyani and porotta) were available for service in 10 minutes. So we ordered beef kizhi, but that ended up taking 30 minutes. The server was kind enough to change the order to chattichoru but wrong expectation setting left a bad taste (pun!) on the order taking / waiting experience. Coming to the food itself, the chattichoru was exceptional. A variety of chutneys, a little bit of kappa with rice, aviyal, kootu thoran, moru, curd, rasam, sambar, a small piece of fish curry (amazing gravy!) All for 150 Rs.I doubt I've had something as authentic before. The others who had beef kizhi biriyani didn't seem to enjoy it a whole lot. Setting expectations while taking an order and managing order wait times with proactive updates is key to customer delight. Get that right next time and I’ll be glad to upgrade this to a 5 star review.

Flavorful Delight with a Disappointing Portion Size I recently indulged in the delectable combination of Ney Choru and Beef Polichathu, and I must say, the taste was beyond delightful. The rich flavors and aromatic spices truly captivated my taste buds, leaving nothing to be desired in terms of taste. However, my excitement was dampened when I realized the portion size was disappointingly small. Despite the mouthwatering taste, the quantity served was far from satisfactory. For the price of 250 rupees, the amount provided left much to be desired. Although the taste was undeniably exceptional, the lack of quantity was a letdown, leaving me feeling dissatisfied with my dining experience. I sincerely hope that in the future, the establishment takes into consideration the importance of serving generous portions to match the excellence of their culinary creations
