Located in the picturesque town of Ponkunnam in Kanjirappally is the the Clay Art Cafe. It was inaugurated on 8 January 2016. The art cafe is a unique concept with thatched bamboo roof and walls plastered with mud. The two level old style building houses the artworks by Siby P martin, an artist who also owns the cafe. Also on display are the artistic creations of his wife SophySibi as well as his architect son Frank Martin. It is one of the few art galleries in the area that holds regular exhibitions. Read moreThis is the best cafe I have visited in Kerala. The art work by the owner is amazing, it gives you a wonderful vibe. I was lucky enough to meet the owners. Both of them were no courteous humble and made me feel that I was lucky to meet people like them.
I had forgotten my phone at the place and had to travel back to get it. They were very nice to help me with it and never had any issues helping me out, even letting us go to Thier home to collect the phone.
