Ample parking space which is a must...the lawn is welcoming and ambiance is cozy with no shooting aromas around. The cutlery should have had their logo as its showing high class restaurant. The washroom are clean and tidy with adequate toileteries. Choice of warm water as well as cold mineral water was welcoming. The menu card was not presentable at all as it was bend and torn from both sides. The steward should have upselled if he had any chef choices rather than the guest to select as an upfront. The food was served and a help of service should have been requested. It took exactly 27 minutes ( got a bit puzzled being a hotelier and standard time is 20 minutes for live cooking) for me to get 2 prawns biriyani and a non veg thali with squid fry. I settled on this as the steward had no choices and I was lazy to go through the menu. The food was good and hygiene and was with quality because I don't trust the word quantity. Later ordered for a tea which was terribly late....I felt as if they arranged someone to fetch the milk as it took another 25 minutes which was quite expensive (Rs 25) and was not to the quality I expected but quantity was more. Received a cheque for the above for Rs. 972 bugs which can be understood on a sea food sale point. Above all I would give a tip to you guys to do this.
Smile is an important asset in the restaurant which was terribly lacking. This would have made much more better. In service industry it's a must and you need to upsell your product with smile. Over all I would rate 3 star but more efficiency required in your services not the food. Thank you and best...
Read moreAuthentic RESTAURANT in Calicut I must admit. LOCATION: Easily accessible as it is in the national highway 66. VIBE: To start with the ambience of a top notch restaurant; muted earth tones with golden interiors, light instrumental musics in the background, tables neatly laid as perfect for a dinner date. WAITERS: Patient and neatly dressed. There was no intrusion nor consistent disturbance from them. Serving manners were well managed. FOOD: The best authentic Malabari Biriyani with required spices. nothing less nothing more. The quantity was 5/5 and two of us completed it. Paneer chilli fry was 5/5. Tasted better than a chicken tossed in sauce. we had this as starters. Alfredo Pasta was 5/5. it came without garlic bread. But the taste compensated it. Cheesy and creamy to the point. Quantity was 5/5. Aloo Paratha: Needless to say. The chef has mastered north indian dishes I must say. Sweet Lassi: 5/5. sour and sweet balanced in the right propotion.
The place best suits for a date. A bit pricey but it's worth it. The place is away from the hustle and bustle giving utmost privacy.
We had a great time...
Read moreReview update on 28March :It is very unfortunate to see a good product, the best efforts of the owners and the good employees being destroyed by a couple of callous and apathetic employees. I had to say that the management was really quick in addressing the issue of the unpleasant experience faced by my friend, a doctor,a couple of days back. The good thing is that the issue has been resolved by the management ,who cares about the hard work done by other committed employees of this restaurant. Really appreciate the urgency shown by them in resolving the matter . Will be definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and colleagues as I know that they really care about the customers!!! My friend, a doctor, had a very unpleasant experience in this restaurant. The restaurant employees started getting extremely rude with him for mentioning about their apathy because he had to wait for over fifteen minutes to be served. This is not good at all.I have already informed all my friends to avoid this outlet to avoid...
