Pathetic The earlier avatar of this restaurant was okay, barring a bit costly. However when we visited the place one week back, we had realized that the old non-veg hotel has been changed to a 'pure veg' hotel. Entered the hotel, expecting quality breakfast. Waited for almost 20 minutes, before someone cleaned our table, they were busy cleaning other tables where no one was sitting. Accepting order took another 10 minutes, even after we tried to get attention multiple times. Finally the ordered items arrived one by one - Masala dosa was surely not made then, one could easily tell that it was cooked and folded atleast 30 minutes before. Sambar was the worst I had ever. None of the items they served was of quality - not even tea. In a nutshell, apart from the location and ample parking place there is noting good with this place. Hope they will improve their service and food quality. If they serve quality food and focus on faster service, this place would be a sure pit...

Ideal location on the left side of MC Road when you proceed towards trivandrum with sufficient parking. Suitable for persons travelling in groups since there is sufficient parking even for big vehicles like buses. They have a cosy spacious restaurant and also has small huts serving 4 people . The huts are ideal for people seeking privacy like couples. Non veg items are good , one might feel the dishes little over priced . Not crowded . Service of waiters needs improvement. No where else you could enjoy such hassle free parking which is really the most important plus point . An abandoned granite quarry has been converted to an excellent property in a prime location . Those huge naturally occurring granite blocks on the borders gives the place an added charm. May be we caught them on a wrong day , but my experience was not pleasant. To start with , the table we sat was very filthy with the left overs from previous diners. Had to wait atleast 15 minutes before a guy shows up for taking orders. Another 10 minutes, justifiable, the food arrived. It was 4pm and there was nothing on the menu except porotta and poori bhaji , so we opted for the latter. The food was pretty bland , but hot . Oh i forgot , we were given no water to drink and neither were there any glasses. We overheard some other people complaining about time taken to serve tea. The restaurant seriously is in dearth of staff. Surprisingly ( or not so) the bill arrived in time. For the kind of food they serve, the bill was a bloated one.
