I recently visited Food Village in Kalady and was particularly impressed by their innovative "kitchen in a bus" concept. This unique idea adds a charming and distinctive touch to the dining experience, making it a memorable spot for patrons. The bus-turned-kitchen is a creative use of space and enhances the overall ambience, making it an enjoyable place to spend time.
The ambience of Food Village is superb, with a well-thought-out design that creates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. It's an ideal setting for gatherings with friends and family, offering a unique backdrop that stands out from conventional dining establishments.
However, while the concept and ambience are exceptional, the food itself is fairly average. I tried the Pepper Alpham Full, which had a normal taste and didn't offer any standout flavors. The dish was satisfactory but didn't leave a lasting impression.
Moreover, the customer service could use some improvement. The staff were polite but seemed somewhat inattentive. Enhanced training in customer relations would significantly enhance the overall dining experience.
In summary, Food Village in Kalady is worth visiting for its unique kitchen in a bus concept and excellent ambience. While the food and service have room for improvement, the enjoyable atmosphere makes it a noteworthy...
Read moreWe went there just to have a tea as our tummies were full and just wanted to explore the area & ambience. The ambience they set up is really amazing with Chota chota thattukadas & the whole idea is really good. I liked it a lot. We sat & ordered some French fries , 2 chai’s , & a club sandwich..
The area wasn’t crowded at all since we went there at midnight, almost no one was there , only us. But what I noticed was they took a lot of time to make just 2 chai , after around some time we got the chai & French fries together. They could have at least served the tea first & then go for the French fries & all. The dishes were all okay okay. Neither too amazing nor too bad.
The atmosphere is really nice, & gives very good vibes at night. They have a wide menu & I would suggest people who likes to hangout at night should really visit here. But I can’t guarantee the food would be that great. But the vibe is nice. Have a decent parking space. Service was also good..
And most importantly they keep the area so neat & clean which I loved..it was...

I recently tried a cappuccino here, which was served hot and had a unique taste. While it was different, I enjoyed it.
The highlight of this place is definitely the ambience—they’ve created a charming village-like setup that feels so cool, especially with the lights and overall design. It’s a visual treat and adds a lot to the experience.
There are plenty of shops offering a variety of dishes, and the seating options are good, making it a comfortable spot to relax. They also have grilled chicken available, which I might try next time.
Parking is spacious and easy to navigate, and the location is simple to find, with every detail getting the right attention.
Overall, this is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere....
