I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sivamayam, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Its a typical country side Tea shop ,situated very near to Kulamavu Dam on the way to Idukki ,catering to tourists and casual labours nearby.This place is famous for their fish pickles and as with many others,definitely the pickle did not disappoint me as well . But the Tea I had from them was very mediocre and didnt have that charm one would expect from country side shops like this. Also ,since they are famous among travellers,I suggest them to keep the premises little more clean and tidy to keep the ratings high.

The best part is that it is very easy to locate this hotel as it is on the way itself. Though it's a small hotel, the way they served was very neat and satisfying. The meals gave a homely feel and we ordered fish pickle too which was alos good. The food was overall good and the price was also cheap. Good service too. There is no special parking space available.
