ย ย ย Read moreWe had vada with tea in the evening. V Though vada was not fresh and hot, it was tasty. Tea was okay. Service was fast. There were house-flies around and hygiene needs to be addressed. The facelift to the building, though made the premises roomy, turned the inside temperature very hot even during monsoon. The rooftop without false ceiling converts the main hall into a oven during sunny days for sure. Update on 18/1/25 - we had onion rave roast and nice dosa yesterday evening alongwith coffee. The dishes were yummy and there were a lot of dosa varieties available. These Dosa varieties are available from 3pm. The prices are reasonable. To my knowledge, this restaurant is the only place between Palakkad and Ottapalam where you can have traditional South Indian vegetarian food with a reasonable hygiene and pricing. Updated on 31/3/25 - No improvement in hygiene. Despite summer season, no measures are taken to improve. Houseflies were flying around merrily - a real threat for health. Heat is unbearable inside. The management are not taking any measures to improve hygiene. Health department officials should look into the matter. Otherwise there, is every chance of eruption of communicative diseases...
