I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant recently, and overall, it was a very good experience. We tried both breakfast and lunch here, and I must say the food quality was impressive on both occasions. The taste was consistently good, with dishes prepared fresh and served hot. Every item we tried was flavorful, and it is evident that the kitchen maintains a good standard when it comes to both quality and quantity. One of the most pleasant surprises was the pricing. For both breakfast and lunch, the cost came to only around ₹100 per person per meal, which is excellent value considering the taste and portion sizes provided. In today’s times, finding a place that serves tasty, filling, and hygienic food at such nominal rates is truly commendable. This makes it a great option not only for students and working professionals but also for families looking for affordable yet satisfying dining. That said, there is one area where I feel improvement would make a big difference—the service. While the staff were efficient in bringing the food, their approach could have been more cordial and welcoming. A little more warmth in their interaction would have elevated the overall experience significantly. Despite that, I would still rate this restaurant 5 stars, as the positives far outweigh this minor drawback. With great food, reasonable pricing, and a reliable menu, it is definitely a place...

Nice vegetarian restaurant.Get steaming hot food. The staff are good.Parking space is limited. You can park on the sides of the restaurant. There is a huge slope in front of the restaurant.Be careful while you park there.Engage the hand brake /put the vehicle in gear. There are pieces of bricks ,probably put by them, to put in front or the car tyre. Restaurant is not that clean.washing space is tiny.Food is delicious.Coffee was so good.I have tried masala dosa,Puri, chilli porota from there. They give chutney again without you asking them.Wish the place was much more neat and tidy.May be the problem is with the dim lighting.Anyway it is a nice place to hangout if you love delicious vegetarian food. They are generous about their chutney. Will give it again even if...

Both the quality and quantity of food served at Saravana Bhavan has fallen in the past many years. Though the cost has almost doubled in that time. The thinnest chapatis, the tiniest vadas, the most miserly servings of pongal, dosa, idli, rice, tandoori items, all at exorbitant prices, that’s today’s Saravana Bhavan for you. The only saving grace is that it is still tasty, though I wouldn’t be surprised if that too goes down the drain in the near future.

I would recommend Adyar Arthi Bhavan or Vasantha Bhavan as excellent alternatives.

My advice - stay away from Saravana Bhavan. Customers are not getting value for their money, and by visiting it, let us not add to the wealth of a criminal and his...
