Visited this place, based on a Google-search with more than 4-star. Sibling's birthday was coming up, so a nice food-treat would be inviting. Imperial Kitchen Restaurant, Punalur : They serve both #vegetarian & #nonvegetarian food items, but #nonveg is of higher %age. They're available from 11am to 10pm, Mind you! There is NO #wheelchairaccessible entrance here. But Vehicle #parking is also available in front of the Restaurant and also basement (I think) 31st-Aug evening around 9:40pm, visited, inquired about their Special dishes available. We were invited to have Kizhi-Parotta with preferred #nonveg Curry. In -- Kizhi-Parotta -- Is pre-cooked White-flour breads (2no.s) along-with preferred cooked #nonveg Curry wrapped in Banana-leaves & is again cooked/heated. Chose to have Kizhi-Parotta with Meat-Curry (Rs.160/-), and Bro ordered Kizhi-Parotta + Chicken-Curry (Rs.150/-). Costed Total (Rs.310/- including GST). Next day a family of 4 visit Costed Total (Rs.869/- including GST). That included the 1* Sweet-Corn Veg. Soup (one by two) (Rs.50/-) 1* Hot & Sour Chicken Soup (one by two) (Rs.60/-) 2 * Kizhi-Parotta + Chicken-Curry (Rs.300/-) 1* Hyderabadi Chicken-Biriyani (Rs.180/-) 1 * Combo-Meals (Rs.199/-) {This had a bowl of properly cooked Rice with fried-dry-nuts like cashew / almond, 3-4 small pieces of fried Chicken, Chicken with gravy, mixed Veg-salad}. Chicken in Curry was bit chewy, but fried Chicken was better. 1 * Fruit-Salad with Vanilla ice-cream (Rs.60/-) 1 * Fresh Lime with Soda (Rs.20/-) All the food items tasted good. Since 2018,I am a regular customer. It's a rough experience from here for the first time. Two days ago I bought a parcel of two chicken biryani and one vegetable fried rice from imperial kitchen but that chicken biryani's smelled very bad due to that I informed the imperial kitchen and the manager accepted the fault and apologized for that,and told me that they can give me compensation for those two chicken biryani and then two days later when I approached them for the same but they didn't give me any compensation for that. I want to convey this review to all people, When we buy food Imperial kitchen, we should check if it is stale. I made a mistake and I wasn't able to give this information to the food inspector that day. I recently visited Imperial Kitchen and had a great experience. The food was delicious, with a good variety of starters to choose from. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who were always available to assist us.

However, I was disappointed with the butter chicken, which I found to be too sweet for my taste. I would recommend that they adjust the recipe to make it less sweet in the future.

One area for improvement would be the dessert section. While the food and service were great, the dessert menu could benefit from more options to choose from.

Overall, I would give Imperial Kitchen a 4-star rating. The food and service were excellent, but there is room for improvement in the dessert section and the butter chicken dish. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great...
