Indian Coffee House — Restaurant in Kerala

Visited the Indian Coffee House in Venjarumood, and it was quite reminiscent of the coffee houses in Kerala. The dining area was spacious, providing ample room for customers. I decided to try their chicken biriyani, but unfortunately, it didn't stand out as anything exceptional. Personally, I'm not a fan of biriyani with long rice, so that might have influenced my experience.

The service, however, was impressively quick, ensuring I didn't have to wait long for my meal. The establishment was neatly maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The wash area and washroom were reasonably clean, contributing to the overall hygiene of the place.

In terms of convenience, there was parking space available for about 3 to 4 cars, which was a plus. The coffee house's location was easily accessible as well, making it convenient for visitors.

All in all, the Indian Coffee House in Venjarumood provided a decent dining experience with its spacious setup, swift service, and well-maintained ambiance. While the chicken biriyani wasn't extraordinary and didn't align with my preference for shorter rice, the overall visit was...

I recently visited the Indian Coffee House and overall, I had a decent experience. The food and tea were definitely the highlights of my visit. I tried a few different dishes and was impressed by the flavors and quality of the ingredients. The tea was also very good and a nice complement to my meal.

However, there were a few downsides to my visit. The first was the condition of the restroom. Unfortunately, it seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned properly and had a bad smell. This was a bit off-putting and detracted from the overall experience.

Additionally, the indoor temperature was quite high and I found myself sweating throughout my meal. This made for a somewhat uncomfortable dining experience and detracted from the enjoyment of the food and tea.

Despite these issues, I would still recommend the Indian Coffee House to others who are looking for a decent meal and tea. Just be aware that there may be some downsides to the experience, including a less-than-ideal restroom and warm indoor...

ICH conveniently located on the Eastern side of MC road after Venjaramood junction and before Gokulam Hospital junction point.

Staff are courteous. Food is ok. Don't order chicken cutlet as it is only potato filled one though crispy on the outer.

Egg double fry is recommended for a quick fill up and a cup of strong decoction coffee.

Toilets need to be cleaned more frequently as also the hand wash bays.

Parking is a constraint.

Recommended only for those proceeding to Trivandrum from kottarakara side as crossing of road etc is hazardous in view of sharp corner north of the outlet.

Better outlet is the ICH one at Venjaramood...
