we were a group of 25 people and was in search of a good restaurant, while going back to town after visiting idukki dam..it was past 2pm & a sunday & reaching the next junction might have taken longer and we stopped at jerryplaza, going by it's decent looks..the owner told she can make the order ready in 20mints..as it was late and since we wer hungry & in hurry we agreed to wait and ordered fried rice & chilly chicken for all of us..she said ok and rushed back to kitchen & we started waiting..meanwhile the 3 toddlers we had in our grup was hungry and when we asked, she soon provided us with plain rice, curd, pappad for them..that was a real help at that instant..then only I noticed that small lil girl wiping plates & arranging tables, bc working here and there..in between I called her to ask abt the food's status & had a lil chat.. it was then only i came to know that it was just 2 of them at that time at that restaurant ..the owner who promised us food in 20mints, was the chef and this small super smart girl was her own daughter..25 of us waiting & just 2 of them working!!..i was really praying with all my heart, that nothing may go wrong for them.. But I must say, I was astonished to see that lil girl moving around like a pro, confident like her mom & helping all over, attending to our needs + rushing back to kitchen in between & handing over things for her chef mom + table arranging + serving etc etc.... as promised in 20 mints the food was served well and good..after the 1st set of food was prepared & served, the owner (chef)came back from kitchen and enquired us abt our needs/feedbacks..Everything went well, food was tasty & the rate was also reasonable..we learnt from them that, due to this pandemic situation they couldnt hire any staff at that moment..Yet, I was really surprised to see how this mom and daughter duo handled that pressure filled situation and did a great job! I suggest this restaurant to everyone and I wish them all success for...

Jerry Plaza is a restaurant that can be easily missed since its situated right after a turn and not on a straight. There's parking space for 2 and 4 wheelers right in front of the restaurant. We ordered Aloo Gobhi, Phulkas, Chicken 65, Fish Masala with Red Rice, Jeera Rice, Cardamom Tea and Coffee. Aloo Gobhi was tasty. Phulkas were small, soft and so light that I'm pretty sure one could easily gobble up 3 to 4. Chicken 65 was delicious but slightly oily. Dad had Fish Curry with Red Rice and going by his feedback, it satisfied his longtime craving for a Kerala sort of fish meals. Since it was almost evening by the time we were done with lunch, we decided to end our meal with Cardamom Tea and Coffee which were delicately spiced. Restaurant is clean, hygienic and maintained pretty well. Going by the looks of the place, we assumed the restaurant to be quite new which wasn't the case since it was revealed to us by the owner that it was more than 3 years old. Would recommend Jerry Plaza to anyone traveling to Idukki or elsewhere on this particular...
