If you are looking for an ambiance to eat food with my family, the ambiance is good, but if you are looking for service, you will never get it there, that is 100% sure.The reason for saying this is that the other day I went to my farm to eat food. When we asked for water, they first gave us water, which was basic and should be given there. He bought our additional water in a water bottle, but we had to ask them many times. But they did not put any water that was basic and should be put there. When we asked them, the staff there behaved very rudely. They gave us many excuses, starting with saying that if you want water, you have to pay and you will get water.There is no need for anyone to give us free water, but when a customer who has been waiting for food for so long gets thirsty, even if they don't have any water to drink, they can keep it there. As you can see, you can put it in a water bottle like the one she showed. It's a situation where you can only drink it if you haven't made the payment. My relationship with Kream Korner starts from their restaurant at Adoor which had tasty food during my childhood days. Everyone at Adoor still remember the taste. It was the best restaurant at that time. It had good food menu at that time. We used to have food often from there. But when more competitors came the business went down and was forced to close. The location also kept family away from there. Parking area was also not there. The one at Alappuzha still holds that old taste i had from my childhood days. But here there is good parking area and vast amount of space inside. The location is superb and is away from town. Hence it's a favorite food destination for those highway travellers. Its cost effective too.The best ambience is there at Kream Korner. Earlier there was live music. In the last visit we had ordered kerala porotta, Karimeen pollichath , Duck Roast and Mushroom masala(takeout). Kerala Porotta was crispy and tasty. Karimeen was hot and spicy. As this restaurant is near home, we have been there a few times. We were there last Sunday for dinner. Earlier whenever we had food from there we were amazed by the food. It was excellent and the ambience was superb. It was always filled with people. But now due to the ongoing highway work, it is a bit of a hassle to reach there. Also this time, we were disappointed by the food. We had chapathi, chicken varutharachathu, beef roast and parotta. Parotta and chapathi were good, but the side dishes were not so. Both had strong masala flavour and in the beef roast the beef pieces were less and liver pieces were more. Maybe after the highway work is finished the restaurant will bounce back to its original character of serving great food.
