Malabar Hotel — Restaurant in Kerala

A small one room hotel serving Arabic and Kerala non veg dishes mainly. More of a take away than a hotel as only limited seating (2tables) are available. I have tried shawarma and found it to be satisfactory. The price is very much affordable (I have uploaded the menu nd prices). The only hotel serving such dishes at Kalady Junction. Newly opened place so no point in reviewing the cleanliness. Offers free home delivery within 5km. Not yet available on zomato or swiggy. Has a few Veg dishes as well. Take a look at the menu for more details. Unlike many other places my tummy feels fine after eating the shwarma. No bloating...

Dear Malabar Hotel Owner,

I am writing to express my disappointment with the chicken curry I purchased on 11/12/2024. Unfortunately, it was the worst chicken curry I have ever eaten. The dish was excessively watery, resembling rasam more than a proper curry.

In fact, it was so unpalatable that we had to throw it straight into the bin. I attempted to address this issue over the phone, but the response I received from the cashier was quite rude, which only added to my frustration.

As a customer, I believe I have the right to expect at least an average quality and quantity for the price I paid, as listed on your price board. We are not seeking a discount; rather, we hope for an improvement in the quality of the food provided.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see the quality of your offerings improve in the future.

Food quality is mediocre at best. Especially steer clear of the Gobi / Manchurian / Chilly varieties. Had a very bad experience of health issues after consuming the aforementioned food almost 2 months ago. Still the issues persist, hence this post. Also taste wise, there are many many other better options in the City. Must improve food hygiene to avoid problems...
