Mani's Cafe — Restaurant in Kerala

Visited the famous Mani's Cafe 2 months back on a travel to Trivandrum. Visited on a evening. I was precisely looking for this hotel so that finding is easy. But for a first time visitor, it's difficult to find out the place. From railway station need to take the left and again next left turn. There are numerous hotels , even vegetarian hotels near to railway station but Mani's Cafe is famous for its elegance, Quality of food and legacy in Palakkad.

Pros :

Food - The food quality is excellent and always crowded because of that.

Service: They are clearly watching the visitors and provide no waiting for taking orders. Even in that busiest time, I got my Masala Dosa and Tea in a short time.

Con's :

Parking : I am not aware of any other parking lot available or not. But in front of the hotel , there is less parking available. Better to visit in a two wheeler so that we can keep it in front and enjoy the food.

Limited seats : I think they are using this place for years so that need to update the area. Because in the present time, lot of people come by knowing through social media reviews and all. When I visited, seats were available ( odd time).

This Brahmin's Vegetarian hotel is only a stone's throw from the Palakkad Rly Jn., station. Just make an exit by the eastern gate of the Railway premises and one would rightly land before the hotel. Food stuff is tasty and parcel services are also available. Lunch is also served and all are at affordable prices. Neat and clean. The frontage is now granite stone paved and so, the premises are eco friendly. Right in front of hotel is a temple.

One of the oldest restaurants in Olavakkode. They have authentic vegetarian food, reasonably priced, good quality & has been consistent. Its not located in a flashy spot, the locality doesn’t look hygienic and tidy you will find it near old entrance of Olavakkode Rly Station.
