The popular Maple Biryani is now available in Kalathode too. Maple Bakehouse is well-known in Thrissur for its delicious biryanis. They've recently opened their second outlet in Kalathode-Ollukara on the Palakkad route, taking over the same building where KA kitchen used to be. There's enough parking space for 5-6 cars inside. Presently, all the food items are cooked here only as they have got a ample kitchen space unlike earlier.

► Menu:

Their specialty is biryanis, and they offer home delivery and accept bulk orders for special occasions. Along with biryanis, they also serve shakes, evening snacks, falooda, milkshakes, mojitos, and special chillax drinks priced between Rs 50 and Rs 70.

► Place:

The place is clean and well-maintained, with a separate AC section containing 5-6 tables. The place is quite spacious compared to their first outlet in Koorkkencherry. They offer a comfortable family dine in space in the AC section that has around 6 tables

► Customer Service:

Their hospitality is excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. Special thanks to Bacchu uncle and Prajul, the manager, for their outstanding service.

► Food and Beverages:

I tried their Chicken Biryani (Full), which was tasty as usual. Each bowl contains 2 pieces of chicken and enough rice for one person. They offer unlimited rice and gravy for free if you dine in and order a full biryani. I am not really sure if egg is also provided in the full biriyani as I have not noticed that in the chicken biriyani. The biriyani is served on a plate that is encapsulated with a banana leaf cut in a circular shape. The accompaniments provided were raita, lemon Pickle and white coconut chutney.

The coffee also tasted good and it is served in a cup. The staff are very attentive and eager to serve extra rice and curry. Overall, I left feeling satisfied with the love shown by the staff. Maple Bakehouse has become my go-to place...

I would absolutely recommend this place to eat homely chicken and beef biriyani which I had.The prices are very affordable and worth it.The food is super delicious ,the flavour is on the point.Their Beef biriyani was outstanding ,the flesh was tender and soft and chewey packed with flavour.The service was really good.Their Passion fruit mojito was good and their chocolate shake was average.
