Maruti Vilas Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

One of few good restaurants available in Willington Island. As the name suggests its a vegetarian restaurant having some very good options at a relatively expensive price..taste is good not exceptional...their menu is good a lot of options(of course you will have to pay a lot).. In short, Neat dining area with variety of options. Vegetarian restaurant. Neat and clean wash room and rest room. Price is on the expensive side. There are some chat options like pani puri, samosa chat,vada pav etc. Not sure about home delivery. Juices & Shakes available. There is some variety options like Gobi 65 etc. There is only 2 waiters so it would take some time to get your food. As of today they don't accept credit ot or Debit card or wallet payments are still cash only (really). Relatively large dining area with 4 and 2 seater options. They offers A/c buffet lunch at ₹80/- and sadly not worth the asking price (you can have as much as you want but belive me you won't eat much) bcoz its just like an ordinary lunch we won't get the dishes (also the satisfaction too) with this vegetarian buffet lunch like we get from some established legendary restaurants (yeah i mean Aaryas and saravana bhavans)... The waiters are very rude. Specially the two old men. On 10 May 23, at about 8:45 PM I went to this restaurant and asked the waiter if dinner was available.

First waiter showed very rude expressions and said "CLOSED". I felt very bad on his way of answering. There were many customers sitting and having dinner.

I then went to another waiter and was shocked to see the same expressions.

It is okay that they did not want to open the restaurant, but showing rude expressions to a customer is one of the worst thing a bussiness owner can do.

Not recommended for gentlemen.

Worst ever restaurant!!! No care and concern for customers... We went with whole family where old aged persons and small kids were included.. And it was heavily raining outside and they told us to go outside and wait in the middle of our food telling still others are in queue whereas no one were in a queue!! I recommend never ever visit this restaurant and want to insist the the hotel people to learn first the hospitality which kerala is...
