Recently visited this place for an evening snack as well as to take home something for dinner. The experience was very bad. They had setup the place in a very decent way, but the food they serve is not at all good. Bought a plate shawarma, shawarma , Al faham for dine In and a grilled chicken(so called by shawai by them). The shawarma was very good when I visited last time, but this time it’s just cabbage and a few pieces of minced chicken. The quantity would not have been a problem if the quality was good. Only thing it remind that it’s a shawarma is the kuboos and garlic paste. Taste wise it was very zero. Then comes the al faham that was very dry and same no flavour or taste at all. So I set my mind to get a grilled chicken for take away thinking it will be good. Mean while I try to communicate with the cashier while making payment, the guy was no at all bothered about my feedback as they are the only one preparing and serving al faham in the entire locality. Then later at night I was having dinner with the grilled chicken I took from there , same as above without any taste and also the chicken they used was not that good quality as they charge for.
The over all expectation was spoiled as I was having a bench mark they had setup in Vatakara branch.
Last guy work on the food or else you will end up selling only your bakery items. The customer nowadays have a lots of options around the locality and there is no monopoly until unless you serve them good...
Read moreI visited their restaurant, which runs inside their bakery, and it was a horrible experience. I can still feel the chill on my teeth from the first bite of their egg puffs! We also ordered a chicken roll and a cutlet. both were served stone cold, just like their supplier’s brain must be.
I asked for one strong tea with minimal sugar and one regular tea for my wife. What we got were two identical cups of the same tea, clearly made together and just poured into separate cups. When I questioned it, the staff randomly picked one cup from the table, called it 'strong tea,' and walked away. Honestly, if I had asked him five minutes later, he probably would’ve picked the other cup instead.
Tea is something daily drinkers hesitate to compromise on, yet this one had more sugar and was weaker than my everyday brew. I decided not to escalate, but the real surprise came when I got the bill! they had actually charged me extra for the so-called 'strong tea' they never served. Truly...
Read moreVisited MRA Bakery in Panoor (opposite SBI Bank) and had a pleasant experience overall. The taste of their snacks and pastries really stood out — everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.The plum cake were especially delicious.
The service was courteous and fairly quick, even during busy hours. Staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive.
The ambiance is clean, neat, and welcoming — not overly fancy, but perfect for a casual visit with friends or family. Seating is comfortable, and the place is well-maintained.
One small suggestion: they could improve the display area to make it easier to browse items, especially during peak hours.
Overall, a solid 4-star experience. Definitely recommended if you're in Panoor and craving...
