We (me and my husband) went to nadala tired and hungry after a day long hectic duty from hospital. A very thin grumpy not so happy to see customers type of boy(very young to become even a waiter.) came to take our order. We smiled and my husband told"mone fried rice ndo?" He told yes. And we orderd 2. As we have ordered the same last mnth hardly 2 wks back and there were very few to nil chicken pieces and mostly veggies in the rice, I told him kurach chicken shred cheyth idane. Last time theere kuravaarunnu. And he was furious and told in an insulting and mocking tone, "pinne chicken. Fried rice l chicken allaand ntha idunne.. We both were shocked by his reply. My husband tried to light up our awkwardness by saying, athalla mone, nammal sthiram ivide varunnathaan. Last time kuravaarnu. atha paranje." And he again came back withh an arrogant reply.. "Njn ivde vannit 18 days aay. Ennit njn ith vare kandittillallo. Pinnenthu regular customers aan nn paraynne" we were sooooo irritated and angry and sad. But didn't make a scenes. We cancelled our order. And asked to bring only the teas we had ordered. Coz they alrdy started preparing. And we didn't want to waste food. We ll never go there again. Also we used to order min.50 biriyani or meals whwnver we had a family function. That too canceklld. Just bcoz of the insult we had from this idiot. I rlly hope KC Mohanan a/ Babu uncle ll take necessary actions againstthese kinnd of behaviour as he is a disgrace to their hotel. We went out and cane to AR kavanadu and had food. We were pleased by their service and....

Nice place good behavioured staffs About the food We ordered fish curry meals, chicken biriyani and chicken fried rice with king fish fry. Fried rice - very limited quantity, chicken pieces just for the sake of name, mostly unflavored inert taste medium pieces (3-4) Fish curry meals - rice is polished with tasty vegetable curries. Fish curry was an utter disaster. Yellowish curry looks pleasing but not that pleasing to buds. Mediocre quality chilly powder taste is highlighted throughout the dish. Also fish (part of kingfish though) was also here just for the sake of name. No taste no flavour just a piece. Chicken biriyani - also called chicken watery biriyani. 50 ml water present inside the pot which carry biriyani. Flavourless tasteless not so appetising looks too. Rice is good but chicken and masala was not upto the mark King fish fry (neymeen fry)- the star of the day. Looks very good, decorated with fried tomatoes and crushed chilly ,ginger and cloves. When come to taste its a disaster. Fish is inert,i mean no taste. Just like a toffee with no taste. They killed the already died fish (weeks ago i think) and served with pride. Fish is not new for sure.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant, which was made worse by a complete lack of courtesy from the staff. I had pre-booked an Onam Sadhya, hoping for a celebratory and satisfying meal, but what I received was far from it.

The food itself was a letdown. The portion sizes were incredibly small; the rice was minimal, and the accompanying curries were barely a spoonful each. For a traditional feast like the Sadhya, this was unacceptable, and it felt like we were being short-changed for a meal we had paid for.

However, the most frustrating part of the experience was the interaction with the lady at the reception. She was in charge of handling the token delivery and made the entire process a complete mess. Her attitude was incredibly arrogant and rude. She acted as if she was doing us a huge favor by giving us a free handout, rather than acknowledging that we were paying customers. Her condescending and impolite behavior completely ruined the festive spirit of the occasion.

Given the poor portion sizes and the unbelievably rude service, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The combination of a disappointing meal and an unpleasant encounter with the staff made for a truly...
