This place offers a completely different vibe, and it may not be suitable for those who are obsessed with sanitizers. But for those who dare to disconnect from the internet and embrace nature, it's an amazing experience. I had a wonderful time conversing with Nair chettan and other guests while enjoying the serene surroundings.
The food is simple yet healthy, and it perfectly complements the beautiful view of small boats and Chinese fishing nets. The cool breeze on your face enhances your taste experience and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The ambiance is the major attraction here, and it's one of the best places to have an evening tea.
The menu is not extensive, with only a few dishes available such as puttu, duck egg roast, pappadam, and mung bean curry (cheru payar). However, the natural lighting and cool atmosphere during sunset amplify the charm of the surrounding world. The view of the lake, local fishermen, and evening vibes with tea transports you to a state of bliss.
I highly recommend exploring this place, not just for the food but for the unique experience it offers. The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is peaceful, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some quality time with nature. So, do add it to your bucket list if you're looking for a super view and a...

Along with the chutney this was a brilliant experience.

Nair Chettan, the chef, brings a touch of magic to these simple dishes, making them incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
