Horrible experience...

Went for a late night dinner with family. And the experience was horrible and the food was terrible.

Issues started with the security. There is a security guard who believes he is an expert in helping the people park their cars. Actually he is leading the drivers in a wrong direction and the car will be finally parked in such a way that none of the doors can be opened properly.

There are two huge glass doors at the entrance out of which one was locked when we enter. There was a huge crowd who was trying to get out at the same time when we were entering. This has caused a huge Chaos there. The doors were too tight that kids or older people could never open it without assistance.

Coming to the food part now.

We ordered 6 porottas, 2 butter naans, half butter chicken, mushroom masala and half al fahm.

When the waiter served the dishes, the butter chicken actually spilled on the table and the curry was all over our hands. The waiter politely took away the curry.

After some time, he came back with the curry. We asked if he had changed the curry and he politely replied that he has changed the bowl. So, he has just poured the remaining curry into another bowl. We have immediately cancelled the chicken curry. They were not even bothered to clean the table until we asked them to do.

Instead of 6 porottas, he first served 4. When we questioned, hem served one more. We had to wait longer for the 6th porotta.

And as an anticlimax, we found a channa inside the mushroom masala. When we questioned, the man at the counter enquired at the kitchen and replied that the masala was same for mushroom masala, channa masala and all other masalas...

We family got in this restaurant after visiting a famous mosque near . The food we ordered were like not really good , I don’t know if it’s tasted like Bengali 1 star hotel food . Seeing the crowd outside we thought it’s a nice moving food but our expectations is wrong . Next time thattukada is better than getting in like this type of hotel 😂😂. Food is fresh not old . Specially the fish costed Rs 600 . If anyone wants to fish dine food , visit our location “ RICE & FISH “ near Perimbillav . My beef kondattam aayohhh total joke , enikkk thonin unknown local cook aan undakunee, ajina - motta vaaari ittekuvan thonin fried rice n beef . I believe Kannur is good but the hotel I got in was a mistake . Not only that 5 A/C were kept it’s not even cooling . Tooo much heat while sitting there , not comfortable. Big flies were really disturbing. I would say food is rotting or anything . It’s newly cooked but these are real things going in there . Dear [Omas Restaurant Management],

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your restaurant about three weeks ago. I had intended to place an order for a takeout parcel, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon entering, I noticed that the staff were more engaged in conversation with each other than in attending to customers. I found this lack of attentiveness quite disheartening. Additionally, when I inquired about the items available, the staff seemed unsure of what was on the menu, which only added to my frustration.

Due to this poor service, I decided to take my business elsewhere, even though I had initially planned to order multiple items.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving the quality of service at your establishment. A more attentive and knowledgeable staff would greatly enhance the customer experience.
