Worst service experienced at Pisharodies

Reviewing after 3 frequent visits at the same branch

Service - I would give negative marks

was disappointed with the vegetarian restaurant's service. The staff seemed disorganized, and it took long time to get attention. Overall, not a pleasant dining experience.

This is a note to management- Staffs dont care about the guests, as if we went to eat free food. Had to wait long time to get their attention, even when the restaurant was not crowded.

Had ordered Sadhya, After 10 minutes we got the banana leaf. Then after 5 minutes served the side dishes. Had to wait another 5 minutes for the rice- had to ask every seen staffs to provide rice- every one was pointing others.

They served ponni rice without asking ( if we required ponni or normal motta rice). When asked for motta rice they said - its finished this is all we have with an atittude.

They dont attend you once they serve first round of dishes. My Parents had to finish the rice without any curry ( Sambar) as they waited almost 5 minutes and no one attended.

Note - People are visiting your restaurant , not because you serve excellent meals- its because we do not have much options on the way.

Wish to have some more restaurants nearby to have better quality. This will be my last visit to...

One the way to Guruvayoor from Coimbatore. Not a usual 4/6 track highway with tolls. This is absolutely country side road(NH though). So accidentally we ended up here and I have to say this... That was the day where I had a fantastic kerala lunch in a plantain leaf .

The place has enough parking for buses, cars and Mini vans.

Stared with achaar(pickle), injim puli, kaaya varathathu (broken banana chips), pappadam, kaalaan, Aviyal, pulisseri, Kaalan, thoran, olan, pachadi(that day we got pineapple pachadi, lip smacking) , koottukari, erissery, pappadam, payasam. The main dish is plain boiled rice (u can ask for Ponni rice available on demand), served along with other dishes collectively called Kootan which include curries like parippu, sambar and rasam. They also have 'curd' which is good enough.

Finally the desert(Paayasam) was a striking one... For Eg. That was a last ball sixer.

Got a chance to have a wonderful lunch after a long time with my family. We all were surprised by the experience.

Food is served with such a beautiful smile by all the staffs(all are ladies) they all are pleasant like evertime before ur leaf is blank they arrive.

The cost of the meal was Rs.140/-

Though have been there for a reception, recently visited there for a dosa dinner.

Ordered a special Masala dosa, garlic masala dosa, rava paneer dosa and normal roast. Out of the above, Special Masada dosa was the best. It was a mix of all, Gobi, paneer, potato, onion everything... Garlic was also good and the normal dosa was fine. But, the rava paneer was a disaster, it's nothing but rava dosa filled with paneer butter masala. Could have been better if the paneer was minced with potato. They serve vada as well along with the dosas, so if you don't want it, do mention it along with your order. And by the way, the vada was very crispy and fresh. Ordered juices as well, but it was also below par.

But it's one of the best dosa restaurants to try in and around Ottappalam and Shornur. They offer some ready to cook products as well for sale.
