I regret to say that my recent visit to Rosebowl, which we visit every time with family when we're in town, left me deeply disappointed. Despite being a loyal customer, the experience I encountered was far from satisfactory. After our meals, the bearer informed us that card payment is not accepted. However, what truly soured the experience was the attitude of the person at the reception. He insisted on UPI or cash payment only. I told him about the issues in my UPI, but his lack of cooperation was evident from the moment I approached him. It was disheartening to see someone in a customer-facing role display such indifference and lack of professionalism.Furthermore, throughout our interaction, the receptionist appeared disinterested, barely acknowledging my presence and offering no apologies for the inconvenience caused. The disregard for customer satisfaction was palpable, leaving me feeling undervalued as a patron of Rosebowl. As someone who has enjoyed the culinary delights and ambiance of Rosebowl in the past, this experience was a stark departure from the exceptional service I had come to expect. Rosebowl used to be a great restaurant but now they're just misusing the credibility they built with good service in the past. The management changed. The restaurant was sold to somebody else and now they're ruining it. They used to have fair price for good quality food. The quality of food decreased, the quantity of food decreased and the price increased regardless. Despite repeated complaints, they're unwilling to improve.
They don't accept cards. They want cash or UPI. They sell foods at high price and still can't bear the small, per-transaction fee. The transaction fee is a percentage that scales with the order price. They still don't want to bear it. They used tell lies like the machine doesn't work, the network is slow etc. I forced them to try the POS machine and it worked. And from the next time, there's not even a POS machine there.
They have become greedy. The reception desk isn't welcoming. They're very unprofessional. The old management had professional, friendly staff who were nice to interact with. The new guys are rude and unfriendly. The security guy also needs to learn...

The order was taken in no time but despite 45min, nothing was delivered except the basic gobi manchurian starter (and that too after repeated reminders). After a while (since our reminders were getting more frantic), a pair of very cold Kerala Paratha was delivered (2 in number) for the 7 people and one of the curries was brought to the table. Looked like they were just buying time as rest of our order just did not show up.
The service was extremely poor and unprofessional. The manager himself thought we are done with our order while he was on his rounds and came down to ask for juice and deserts. What a joke !! We told him that we are still awaiting our order including simple basic veg starters. The manager himself was quite appalled to hear this and rushed to check on the same.
Very poor service. We cancelled our order after the 45min wait and stepped out. We found another restaurant nearby & had our lunch.
45min wait and all that was delivered was two plates of Gobi Manchurian !
