First and foremost, the restaurant boasts a very attractive atmosphere. Its eye-catching exterior design grabs your attention while passing through the road. It sets a positive first impression, and I was excited to explore what the restaurant had to offer.
One of the notable advantages of Ruchi Seafood is its ample parking space. Finding parking in busy areas can often be a hassle, but here, I had no trouble securing a spot. It's a relief to have this convenience, especially when dining out.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the availability of good space for selfie corner. If you're looking for a visually appealing backdrop or a place to capture memorable moments, Ruchi Seafood provides suitable settings. The ambiance and decor contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing photographs.
Additionally, the restaurant offers a spacious area for conducting events like birthday parties. This is a significant advantage for those seeking a venue to celebrate special occasions. The accommodating environment and attentive staff can enhance the overall experience of hosting events.
However, my enthusiasm waned when it came to the food. While the atmosphere and facilities were impressive, the quality of the dishes left much to be desired. The taste and presentation of the food were average, failing to live up to the expectations set by the ambiance. I ate a chicken mandi late night.
Furthermore, I was disappointed by the long waiting period I experienced during my visit. The high demand resulted in considerable waiting times, which affected my overall dining experience. If you plan to visit during peak hours, it's advisable to make a reservation or be prepared for potential delays.
Note: Please keep in mind that this review reflects my personal experience during the time of my visit, and the restaurant's offerings may have...
Read moreAfter my friend returned from abroad, we decided to meet up after a long time and dine out. After some discussion, we chose to eat at Ruchi Hut and arrived there around 10:25 PM. We planned to order mandhi rice and kanthari alfaham, but the waiter informed us that while the mandhi rice was ready, the alfaham would take 20 minutes to prepare. When we asked if the regular alfaham could be served sooner, he explained that all alfahams would take the same amount of time. So, we placed our order for mandhi rice, kanthari alfaham, and pepper chicken gravy.
After about 30 minutes, the food was served. The rice was okay, but the alfaham was dark and tasted slightly burnt but still edible. However, things took a turn for the worse when we tried the pepper chicken gravy, it had a foul smell and tasted rotten. It was clear they had served us spoiled chicken.
When we complained to the waiter, he claimed he had no control over the kitchen and astonishingly offered not to add the dish to our bill, as though we would pay for inedible food.
When it was time to settle the bill, we expressed our disappointment to the cashier, only for the waiter to return and argue with us, insisting this had never happened before and accusing us of making a scene. We made it clear that we were paying customers and had every right to speak up when the food was bad. As we left, he was still muttering under his breath.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. A few years ago, I dined there and had a good experience when the staff were from South Kerala, but this time was extremely...
