Samak Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience, particularly when it comes to their fish dishes. Nestled in a cozy corner, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, setting the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. As a seafood enthusiast, I was eager to explore their fish menu, and Samak did not disappoint.
The star of the show was undoubtedly their Grilled Sea Bass. The fish was impeccably fresh, and the chef's expertise in grilling shone through in every bite. The outer layer had a perfect char, providing a smoky flavor that complemented the natural sweetness of the sea bass. The flesh was tender and moist, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.
The menu also featured a variety of fish curries, and I opted for the Spicy Tamarind Fish Curry. The balance of tangy tamarind and aromatic spices elevated the dish, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The generous chunks of fish absorbed the rich curry, making each spoonful a burst of indulgence.
For those seeking a more adventurous option, the Stuffed Pomfret is a must-try. The stuffing, a blend of herbs and spices, enhanced the mild flavor of the pomfret. The dish was a delightful fusion of textures, with the crispness of the outer layer complementing the tender fish within.
The service at Samak Restaurant was commendable. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing insightful recommendations based on preferences. The attention to detail in presentation added an aesthetic appeal to each dish.
To complete the experience, I indulged in their Fisherman's Platter, a delightful assortment of grilled, fried, and steamed fish. This platter showcased the restaurant's versatility in preparing fish dishes, offering a satisfying variety on a single plate.
In conclusion, Samak Restaurant stands out for its dedication to delivering a memorable seafood experience. From the freshness of the fish to the skillful preparation, each dish reflects a commitment to excellence. Whether you're a seafood connoisseur or a casual diner, Samak's fish offerings are sure to leave a lasting impression on...
Read moreMy friends and I had a disappointing experience at Samak Restaurant last day. We decided to dine in the family dining area to have some privacy and avoid the crowd. However, our pleasant evening quickly turned sour when one of the staff members, who we were unsure if he was the manager or not, approached us and exhibited extremely rude behavior.
Instead of addressing the situation politely or explaining any potential reasons for moving, the staff member was forceful and insisted that we relocate. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. As a result, we made the decision to leave the restaurant altogether.
Fortunately, we found another restaurant nearby where we received a warm welcome and excellent treatment from their staff. Not only did they provide outstanding service, but we were also pleasantly surprised to find that the food was offered at much more reasonable prices compared to Samak Restaurant.
I regret to say that based on this negative encounter, I cannot recommend Samak Restaurant to anyone. Such bad manners from the staff are indicative of deeper issues within the establishment. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sorely lacking in our experience. Until the management addresses these problems and improves their customer service, I would advise others to seek dining...
Read moreSamak Restaurant is located at Parambilangadi majorly serves sea foods. Atmosphere inside the restaurant was good. There wasn't any rush when i entered there for having food. Family dining hall, feeding facility were provided inside. There is a fish counter, where we can choose original fish to be grilled and restaurant prepare it live. I had ordered Porotta, Ayakkora (King fish) Mango curry, and Prawn Kanthari rost. I am dissatisfied with the quality of the food served considering hype about the restaurant in the air and price of the items. Fish mango curry and Chemmen Kanthai fry was too sour, made unable to identify its original taste. The fish was seem to be not fresh also. The price they charge for item, analyzing it's quality is not reasonable. We can find other sea food restaurant where we will get minimum assurance on the taste of the dishes. Today, 20/10/2024 i went there for having lunch. I had ordered Fish Biriyani and Chemmen Tawa fry. Biriyani was not upto the mark, and didn't reach up to the expectations of a Malappuram biriyani. Fish peace was tiny in Biriyani thus make it over priced. Prawns Thava fry was good. Good Parking facility is provided by the restaurant. The restaurant is also easy to access as it is located near to National...
