Shawarma Express (Spoonbill Resturant) — Restaurant in Kerala

Went it at about midnight for satiating a small hunger. A bit of parking is available right in front of the shop even for a couple of cars.

They were helpful and welcoming on enquiry of available food choices. The food didn’t take much time to reach either! The Mayo and kuboos were great, I liked them better than the Shawai, not that it was bad. The kuboos was a bit bready but soft. Subsequent service became a bit slow- but I guess it was because a big group had come in after us and they got busy. They were out of bottled beverages.

The upkeep of the atmosphere can improve- the access area to the wash and all were a bit battered.

They used to serve good Mandi rice with good quantity but lately they reduced the quantity and increased the rate. There is good demand for shawarma, so the cook is mostly available at the shawarma kitchen and the Alfaham is cooked by the Bengali employees(lacks cooking skills). Most of the time it’s burned and lacks the taste which they used to serve before.
