Shree Aaryadurga Bhavan Pure Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

We felt having some veg. Food so chose to visit this restaurant which was on our route. Firstly I was confused as to were this restaurant is because as I entered it looked more of supermarket setup.. later the counter looked like a bakery.. I had a second thought of leaving from there itself. Secondly the service part : it was the worst experience I had. The guys come wearing orange coats like the onces which supermarket helpers wear. The have kept a board with Today's Special written on it. I asked to get one item but the lady says they don't serve the item it self. I changed my choice and ordered some other items later they come back saying yes we have that item. They didnt we have the basic courtesy to offer water. They guys standing don't even understand malayalam properly and english is also misunderstood.

Finally the food part : Instead of going for dosa idli I took chance with Chinese and pizza items and to my great surprise that was not at all good. Too salty chinese and no taste at all in pizza. I don't know how idli dosa will be I won't suggest this place because it was total disappointment. Just having large parking and big boards will not serve the purpose. I would suggest the management to concentrate on one thing instead of mixing multiple business togather. A nice restaurant will definitely give you a good business. Hope things change...

I recently visited here and was quite disappointed with the experience. We ordered two ghee roasts and two coffees. The coffee was terrible – weak and tasteless. As for the ghee roast, it was served with a very small portion of sambar, which tasted stale, like it was made the day before. The chutney that came with the roast was just average. To make things worse, they didn't even offer drinking water. When I went to the washroom, I noticed the pipe water just leaking out. It was unhygienic and a clear sign of poor maintenance. On top of all that, the prices were surprisingly high, even higher than what you'd find in bigger cities like Kochi, but the quality definitely didn’t match the price. Tasty food with a BAD experience. Our family of 5 persons visited this restaurant today the 6th June at 8.30 AM for breakfast. We ordered our breakfast along with coffee and tea. HOWEVER, WHEN WE ASKED FOR WATER TO DRINK BOTTLED WATER WAS OFFERED WE NEEDED HOT OR WARM WATER for an elderly person to have her medication to my surprise the waiters / manager refused saying that the OWNER has given instructions that warm / hot or ordinary drinking water should not to provided BUT SELL BOTTLED WATER AT Rs. 30/-. ( Ripoff ) Never in my travels have I experienced a place we're drinking water is not provided. Action must be taken against owners like this. The food was good.
