My family and I had a rather disappointing experience at Signature Multi-Cuisine Restaurant in Tiruvalla during our recent Lunch visit. Despite pre-booking a table for four, our initial interaction with the manager left much to be desired. Despite our request for a larger table we were directed to a cramped table less spacious and right in the centre next to the counter.
When we inquired about being seated at a more spacious table, the manager's response was far from accommodating. He bluntly told us, "That is the place for you guys; you can sit there." This response was surprising and discourteous, especially given our prior reservations and expression of a preference for a larger table.
The disappointment continued as we perused the menu. Shockingly, many items listed were unavailable, including basics such as Tandoor roti and Naan, as well as a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The waiter informed us that these items are only available in the evenings. In fact, the only items available at that time were typical Kerala-style cuisine, which made us question our choice of Signature entirely.
This information would have been more helpful when we made the lunch reservation, as our decision was based on the online menu. This inconsistency left us thoroughly dissatisfied.
Turning to our meal, the limited menu left us with little choice but to order what was available. Unfortunately, the roti selection was limited to porotta and plain roti. The soup we ordered was disappointingly meager in quantity and contained very few chicken pieces. To our dismay, the Gobi Manchurian and Chilly Gobi dishes tasted almost identical.
Our experience with the momos was equally underwhelming. Both the steamed and fried versions were subpar, with the entire fillings falling apart with just one bite, and the overall taste was rather average.
In conclusion, our visit to Signature Multi-Cuisine Restaurant did not meet our expectations. What was supposed to be a delightful lunch outing turned out to be a disappointing waste of both time and money. We hope the restaurant can address these issues and provide a more consistent and accommodating dining experience...
Read moreDriving back home after a beautiful trip, after having woken up late after a beautiful night's repose. The clock was ticking and time was passing. We'd planned for to have brunch at a great place we'd eaten at before, and headed out in that Direction, but good old Google showed it to be closed. Searching along route brought up different results for restaurants, but this place had a very decent, if not impressive rating. I was driving, so I did not get the time to read through reviews. If you are driving right now, just add a stop here, and while you relax in the clear, calm ambience of this place, as the mouthwatering sights of platters zipping around and rich aromas waft up your nostrils as you breathe, you may sit and enjoy reading further.
But why would you do it then? Coz once you are there, there's a lot more on your mind and your pampered senses.
The ambiance of the place: regal and young, peaceful when you can get a table tucked away in a corner, or calm anywhere around.
The service is excellent, you have the staff on their toes, but not fretful. They speak well and are very hospitable.
The food is worth your money, worth your time, and worth the experience. If you are inclined on choosing vegetarian off the menu card, then I'd recommend the chilly paneer. I did not find the word platter on the card, but they also do serve on platters as well, wi th large generous portions. The beverages are served in cute glassware. The food was great, and to top the service, we were also graced with the presence of Riya, who, though not a waitress, helped the others at peak hour. She even took an order and humored us with pleasant conversation. As salt or seasoning is to a meal, changing the reason for eating, so is gracious hospitality and pleasant conversation and sociability to dining, turning a necessity into a memorable experience and...
