Extremely Disappointed – Items Missing, Overpriced, and Terrible Taste

I am truly disappointed with my experience at SRG family restaurant, thirumoola, thiruvalla. I ordered 3 meals and received only half of what I was supposed to. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was terrible and the prices were outrageously high. Each meal was priced at ₹151, which is double the price compared to similar restaurants that offer much better quality.

The meal I received was supposed to include theyal, achar, mezhukupuratti, pacha moru, salad, sambar, papadam, and chor. However, one entire set of curries was missing, and the quantity of the food I received was extremely small. When I reached out to the restaurant, I was told that they "might have forgotten to add the curries." That’s not an acceptable excuse, especially when you're charging such high prices.

On top of that, the taste was just awful. The food lacked flavor, and the overall quality was very disappointing. I really hoped for a satisfying meal, but this experience has left me frustrated and unwilling to return.

I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience, and I won’t be ordering...

I have ordered food from srg many times. Every time I felt the food and it's quality is above average. Almost all there Parrotta items paneer, non veg curry, kothuporotta etc have a really affordable price. And it taste and quality serves the price as well. But for meals and biriyani there taste and quality is very poor especially the meals. I ordered fish pothichoru today. It was a disaster. It is so bad. As you can see in the video. A one spoon size omlet, some low quality fish fry, a loose tasteless gravy, an average sambar, one bad palladam , puliseery and a bad thoran and mezhukupuratti. Is is packed so bad and I felt very bad on them. I was sad thinking why srg like this. Please don't fool people. Especially when it comes to food. Don't order...

I ordered fish curry meals today via swiggy . I don’t have any good restaurants near my house . In Chengannur all hotels are worst . In one of the hotels in Chengannur we ordered chicken curry it was late so we don’t have any option so we chose that place ans the quantity was huge but the very next day all of us had stomach issues vomiting . So it has become a nightmare in ordering foods in Chengannur. But today felt so hungry and I found this restaurant and had no expectations because it was the first time . But honestly the meals was really good . All curries were equally good . Quality was good. But i have a suggestion to put more rice in meals...
