We had already ordered 1 plate of shawarma and half a shawai, totaling around 400 rupees. After that, we were still craving more, so we decided to order a quarter piece of shawai. However, when we asked for a quarter piece, we were told that they only serve half or full portions, with no option for a smaller size. This left us feeling quite insulted, as we had already spent 400 rupees and were hoping for a more customer-friendly approach. Ordering a half portion when we only need a small bite [ quarter ]feels wasteful. This decision from the management is very disappointing and needs to be reconsidered. A little flexibility in portion sizes would go a long way in showing that you value your customers. When we asked the owner, they explained that in Kasarkod, they don't offer quarter portions of shawai , only half or full. I'm not sure if this is true, as I'm from Malappuram, where you can easily get a quarter piece if you're eating alone. It left me wondering—if I want to eat shawai here, do I need to bring someone else just to finish a half portion? We arrived at the restaurant at 10:50 PM with a group of 20 people. The management asked us to wait outside, promising to arrange 20 seats together within 40 minutes. After a lengthy wait, the staff finally set up the seats, but unfortunately, our dining experience was cut short as they announced the imminent closure.
