The food here is soo good i usually eat breakfast from here masala dosa is so good it so crispy and the masala is also on point(there is potato, onion just normal stuffing not beetroot and all). Then the ghee roast really have the taste of ghee so good also same so crispy. It is not soo badly fermented like it is tasting sour or not fermented at all...it is like on the point of fermentation. Then the idli(my mother always tells that the idli have a type of batter not same as the dosa and it is soo correct there in Udupi pure veg restaurant like super recipe) these all come with Vada with is also so crispy so good excellent... If u want Vada alone u will get 2 Vada in a set vada and idli set with 3 in one set.... These all come with 3 side coconut chutney, red chutney also sambar. The red chutney is so good it really goes with Vada also(vada goes everything but still this with Vada is like sooo good combination) everything goes with everything 🤣🤭😜 then pori I've tasted from my mom's plate it is also good don't know correctly about this(because only tried ones that too it was long so I don't remember correctly about it). I think upuma is also available( I've never tried so I don't know how to comment 😜😜). Then there is different type of dosa like cheese, panner and something like those but I think that is a little over rated, because this is like I will tell a thing that happened to me I orderd cheese dosa(which will be like cheese dosa without filling) but it was like just little cheese grated cheese above it that's it nothing more nothing less it was like not even inside or like nothing so bad...the dosa was good but it was like 50-60 rupees( approximately) more... Just for this small about of these that is so bad. Then we can talk about the drinks cool fresh drinks are not available only soft drinks in the fridge(which is like normally available things in Kerala) but there is hot drinks coffee, tea, boost etc these are...

I recently visited the Udupi Vegetarian Hotel for a breakfast outing, and my experience left me with mixed emotions. I had high expectations, as these hotels are often celebrated for their traditional South Indian cuisine, but unfortunately, my visit was somewhat disappointing. The breakfast items, including dosas and vadas, were prepared with standard care but lacked the flavor and distinctive zest I anticipated. While the food was acceptable, it was only average in taste and failed to deliver that authentic burst of spice and texture one associates with good Udupi fare.

Even more concerning was the overall environment. The level of cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen seemed below par, which was a significant letdown considering the reputation of such establishments. The untidy ambiance made it difficult to enjoy the meal, as one’s dining experience is often enhanced by a clean, comfortable setting. Additionally, the pricing was on the higher side, which did not quite match up with the mediocrity of the offerings. While the service was polite, it did little to compensate for the shortcomings in quality and hygiene. Overall, the visit was underwhelming, leaving me with the impression that improvements in cleanliness and flavor could greatly enhance...

The menu features a variety of traditional dishes, with the masala dosa and vada being particularly praised for their taste and preparation. The restaurant also offers a selection of sweet dishes, enhancing the dining experience.

Patrons appreciate the restaurant's prompt service and the staff's positive demeanor, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The establishment is noted for its cleanliness and efficient service, making it a suitable choice for family outings and casual meals.

However, some reviews suggest areas for improvement. A few customers have mentioned that the interior ambiance could be enhanced, as the current decor may appear somewhat gloomy. Additionally, parking space is limited, accommodating only a few vehicles at a time

Udupi Pure Vegetarian Restaurant operates daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, offering dine-in, takeaway, and delivery options. For those in Nilambur seeking a reliable spot for vegetarian fare, this restaurant presents a commendable choice.

Udupi Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in Nilambur offers a delightful culinary experience for those seeking authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Located near the Teak Museum...

As I had a very good Kerala Sadhya recently at this restaurant, I had ordered the Vishu Special Sadhya (take away-14 nos.) from here for my family and relatives. All dishes were good except the Parippu Payasam. The Palada Payasam was also not up to the mark but still good. I don't have issues with the quality/taste, but on the quantity of side dishes. Pineapple Pachadi, Koottu, Avial, etc.; all were just one tablespoon per person. Sambhar and Rice were in normal quantities. They had charged Rs. 130/- for the Kerala Sadhya when I dined in there; but this was for 180/- per head as this was special. Only an additional thing was the Parippu Payasam; needless to repeat about its taste. They were charging Rs. 160/- for dine-in Vishu Special Sadhya and Rs. 180/- for take away. The fun fact is that we took the vessels for carrying the food. They had used only some aluminum foil covers to fill some dishes. This is pure plundering. Just reminding that Catering is not all about taste but also about customer satisfaction.

Found this place on Maps while traveling to Guruvayoor. We had one of the best Sadhya at this place on the highway between Mysore-Guruvayoor. I travel almost twice a year through this route and never got lucky to find a good vegetarian hotel. Staff were very courteous and served almost all the dishes as if it was an unlimited feast. They charge only ₹130 for meals and it's the best one can get. Payasam was something to die for and we ordered 3 extra cups at an additional cost. Parking is available for some 10 cars and the tables were clean. Probably the best veg restaurant in Nilambur. Special mention, washrooms are also clean.

We found this while searching for a veg hotel while travelling through the premises. It's easily accessible since it's located on the side of the main road. We have the masala dosa and veg noodles, both are yummy and were served with good quality. The quantity of noodles is pretty good which should have to be mentioned. The staff behaves well and politely with the customers. The atmosphere is kept clean and hygienic. They have parking for around 5 to 6 cars. In a summary, I would suggest the hotel to anyone who loves veg restaurants
