Usthad Hotel — Restaurant in Kerala

I saved this location 4 years ago by seeing a yt short. i came to kerala and finally yesterday went there to taste the food but I didn’t expect this rude behaviour when I asked what are the best dishes that you suggest me to eat! Then the owner said something like i’m not going to say all the menu for you, can’t you see the menu on the wall ( I don’t understand malayalam but i understood the body language and the way he is responding to my words ) i really had good experience in kerala before. I had good friends here but suddenly i got this bad experience and i was in shock. I silently asked to pack a biryani ( because im with my wife and we don’t know the language but he seems like he want to make issue so if i say no thanks and leave he is ready for the clash ) i think this is not the correct attitude to do a business i came from andhra and waited to taste your food from long time and when i came i got this. Cleanliness 0 Staffs rude and having a different attitude. Just went there to try for the first time and wont be going or recommending to others. Plates are very old and not cleaned properly. Hand wash area is quite disturbing place. Furniture’s some are broken and hope the glass dont give you a cut. Had biriyani but was to oily and asked for extra papad and they refused to serve.
