The Malabar region of Kerala White House Restaurant on the Wayanad - Calicut road on Puthupalli is the most sought after restaurant in the whole area and also to interstate travellers as this place is bang on the Highway. The place is pretty big and very clean joint but despite it's voluminous size the place is chock-O-block due to its lengendary popularity of its local cuisine. The restaurant offers simple straight forward Kerala food with great quality and taste which brings it's customers in droves.

When I reached the restaurant in the afternoon at 1 PM the whole place was packed but luckily my family got a table for 5 within 20 minutes. We ordered thier top notch dish which is the Mutton and Chicken Biriyani and I ordered the fish curry meals. The Mutton Biriyani is definitely one of the best Malabar Biriyani I have ever had. My son was gorging non the Chicken Biriyani. Both were out standing. The meals was truly the star of this restaurant but the pull of Biriyani was taking out it's sheen as most of them were ordering the Biriyani. As a true blue I request to try the meals if you have already tried the Biriyani. You will love it.

The restaurant is clean, large and well lit. The service is fast and efficient. The cost is slightly higher than the other local restaurants but the pricing is worth it. The parking is very large . It may be a little tough to get parking during peak hours. I request the management to grow more trees around the parking because the cars become a huge oven within an hour.
