Vanasthali Cafe and Restaurant, located at 228, Omkareshwar Road near the HP Petrol Pump in Kothi, Omkareshwar, is a luxurious dining gem that truly stands out. From Indian delicacies to continental favorites, and from refreshing juices to rich coffee, this place has it all, offering an extensive menu that caters to every taste and occasion—from breakfast to late-night dinner.

The quality and taste of the food are simply outstanding. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is pure vegetarian, which is a huge plus for those who prefer dining in vegetarian-only establishments. The ambience is inviting, with a clean and hygienic environment, complemented by mild background music that enhances the overall dining experience.

The staff at Vanasthali Cafe and Restaurant are exceptional—polite, courteous, and always eager to assist. I would like to give a special mention to the Front Office team, Ashish and Ajay, as well as Mr. Arun from F&B, Captain Ajay Marco, Executive Chef Vimal and Stewards Veer Bahadur, Jeevan Mandal, and Vinod, who all contributed to making my visit memorable.

Parking is ample, so you won’t face any issues finding a spot. Although I didn’t stay at their luxurious resort this time, the restaurant’s excellence has certainly made me eager to return and experience their accommodations soon.

In summary, Vanasthali Cafe and Restaurant is a pure vegetarian haven that offers an amazing dining experience with great food, impeccable service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Omkareshwar, this is a spot you...

Visited OMK Vanasthali Cafe & Restaurant recently, and the experience was a complete waste of money. Paid ₹890 for food that was painfully average in taste, small in portions, and priced as if it were fine dining.

Veg Manchurian (₹280) and Veg Pulao (₹260) were bland and forgettable. To top it off, the pulao was served without raita or gravy, and only when we asked did the waiter mention he could ā€œget it as a complimentaryā€ something that should have been part of the dish in the first place. Even the so called ā€œDriver Foodā€ was ₹250 for something so basic it was almost insulting.

It’s the kind of place that survives on overpriced show rather than substance perfect for people who care more about being seen eating somewhere than actually enjoying a decent meal. For anyone who values taste, fairness, and their money, this is not the place.

Also before the management or the people think this is some misinformation I'm hereby attaching my bill.

Not worth a penny...

A spacious restaurant attached to a resort. Went for dinner and setting calms your tired feet after a temple visit. Looking at the size of the place, it appeared that this could very crowded.

Different styles of food and all vegetarian is a treat of a menu. Service is more of a resort style, leisurely.

Started off with mixed chaat and followed it with a veg khichdi. Chaat was interesting with peanuts, channa, potatoes and some garnishing. Veg khichdi was nutritious and filling, perfect for a late night.

Noodles was light and a smaller portion.

Curd rice had mustard seasoning with cucumber, bonus. Fruit salad was unique as it was a fruit platter with ice-cream in the centre.

Maybe add some jal jeera or jeera drink to the menu. service was...

Lovely resort and lovely staff. Jeevan who is the captain there was especially very helpful and warm. He was humble and kind and considerate. He made us feel very welcome. Thank you. Only drawback about the resort is that there can be a lot of noise at night as the camps aren’t sound proofing. You can hear people next to you if they speak loudly. There was a wedding next door and was too much music.
