Cafe De Saspol — Restaurant in Ladakh

We had a really disappointing experience here. Our family ordered fried rice, and it was honestly the worst we’ve ever tasted. We also got two portions of pasta, but one bowl was huge — easily enough for 3 people — and the staff didn’t bother informing us about portion sizes, which led to unnecessary waste. The Alfredo pasta was especially bad — overly tangy and not enjoyable at all. Service was poor, with the staff seeming uninterested and unhelpful throughout. Great little cafe in Saspol. Probably the only one there. Dimsums were great and on par with any good Chinese restaurant in the country. Their pizza was also well made. Very soft and cheesy. Burger portions were huge and filling. They serve only vegetarian food, but it's great and services is also quick! It's on the road only, so highly recommended for a stop if you're passing through Saspol...

Pathetic place to stop. Service if delayed. Inspite of seating for one hour, they were not able to give even french fries. WILL STRONGLY RECOMMEND ALL TOURIST NOT TO STOP HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME. Owner should take responsibility and should be more careful of such issue. Overall it was worst experience in my last 5 days of ladakh trip. PATHETIC...
