Arpit's Rivaayat || Traditional Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Hub in Bhopal — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

We were searching for some non vegetarian restaurants on Hoshangabad Road and stumbled at Rivaayat. They are specialized in Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. We ordered Special Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and Chicken 65. They served a combo of approx 1kg chicken Dum biryani and chicken 65 which was sufficient for 3 people. Alaongwith biryani the accompaniments were-raita, salan (gravy), fresh onion, fried onions, Gulab jamun. They promote self service so you need to order at the counter first and take your seats. They will announce the order, you grab it and eat at your place. Pay at the counter as you finish the meal (you can also pay alongwith the order). Food: 10/10. Tasty biryani topped with boiled eggs and fried onions reminded us of one we had in hyderabad. Fresh, not too spicy, neat. Food is served in disposables with steel spoons. Service: 10/10. It took them around 15 mins to serve the food. Ambience: 3/10. Sadly, if you are a person whose appetite increases in good ambience then this is not your place. Simple wooden (clean) tables with plastic (comfortable) chairs. No music. No decor. It almost gives you a canteen like feeling. But once the food is served, you do not look anywhere else ;) Food delivery: They home deliver the food as well. Hello Arpit, I am basically from Hyderabad and so I am Hyderabad Biryani Lover . I am staying in Bhopal since 2.5 years and did not find a good biryani which matches with Hyderabad Biryani. Week back one of my friend told me about Rivaayat. Yesterday we have ordered family pack sufficient for 3 members. Taste is awesome and first time after two years I could see original biryani aroma. I recommend all biryani lovers to visit this place once . Only two points to be considered for improvement Chicken pieces quality needs improvement... I did see 50%wastage in pieces Quantity of rice can be increased with same price. Still it is ok
