If you are in Khajuraho, Madhya Pravesh and do not try out the local cuisine here then your trip/vacation is incomplete. Ans what better place than Bundeli Bakhri. We had a chance to visit this place with our friends who are locals but had only heard about this place. It was their first time as well and trust me they were also awestruck by the quality and taste of food. It is a themed restaurant made in the form of Bundelkhand local house kind of structure spread across a huge area. The Thali here is their specialty and the best part is they make everything from scratch, which makes the food fresh and even more delicious. We ordered 4 thalis which took around 40-45 mins to prepare, but then again it was worth the wait. It had an exquisite combination of various dishes like Biagan ka Bharta, Dal, Sarson ka Saag, Khati kadhi pakora, Curd rice, Jowar Puri, Dahi Bhalla, Malpua , Sanata Raita and Sevaiyan. A perfect place to quench your appetite specially if you are seeking an earthen ambience while savoring both Bundeli/normal delicacies in the most indigenous form. The place is well equipped with modern facilities to cater the needs of all age groups. The location is right next to the highway so a sojourn over here would make you feel relaxed and satisfied. The management is very humble and greets you with warmth. If you want to cherish the Bundeli cuisine cooked in Chulha ,then you need to contact them at a prior notice so they can set things in order.

The only flaw is in the service, as the localites working as waiters are a bit sloppy and they need some training to work quickly and effectively at the same time.
