Café Joyo is an absolute gem and one of the best stops I’ve come across. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well-organized everything was, with a variety of food options, all served fresh and hot at any time of day. We arrived around 4:30-5 PM, and to my delight as a proud Indori, they had fresh poha — something you rarely find at this hour! I couldn’t resist and ended up having two plates.
We also tried their dhokla, kachori, and of course, chai. Every single item was delicious, freshly prepared, and packed with flavor. They’ve set up separate counters: one for fast food and Indian snacks like poha, kachori, samosa, and chai, another for bakery items like puffs, cakes, and pastries, and even a full restaurant area for meals like chow mein, dal, sabji, roti, pasta, pizza, and burgers. Despite the constant walk-ins, everything was managed so smoothly.
The location, right on the highway junction, is perfect with ample parking, clean and spacious seating, and top-notch hygiene — no flies or insects in sight, and the washrooms were spotless. The staff was polite and attentive, adding to the positive experience.
They’ve even put up a large poster of Ratan Tata, along with a write-up from a journalist praising the place, which added a nice touch.
I really hope I get a chance to visit this place again. For food, taste, hygiene, location, and overall experience, Café Joyo is a...
Read moreIf only I could choose to give one star, I would. We stopped here a few minutes ago, our driver was eating and my father was sick so we brought his food from home but the staff was so ill mannered, they didn’t let him eat at the restaurant, not even outside. When we sat in the car waiting for our driver, I suggested that my father should eat in the car. The restaurant guys tried to stop him from eating in his own car!! I couldn’t believe the audacity of these people. I would never ever visit this cafe ever again. Also they’re not so hygienic. The entire restaurant had tons of flies. The worst staff, the worst experience. Would never recommend!!
Edit: first of all we never opened our tiffin on your table, we did it in the car. You’re clearly lying on the google and you know it because we were only 3 people. 2 of us were fasting, it was a Monday. Only my elderly father was eating in the car! Please check your cctv, ask your guard, there were other people too who felt very bad for us. You could have apologised for your staff’s behaviour instead of lying and accusing of something we clearly didn’t do. Accusing someone who was fasting on a Monday. Wow! Now I have more reasons to never visit and never recommend to anyone. Thanks! Also since you have falsely accused us. I insist that you watch the cctv and show everyone who opened tifin on the table and four...
