House Number 230 – The Gourmet Kitchen lives up to its name in more ways than one. Nestled in a charming, tastefully designed space, this restaurant offers an elevated yet welcoming dining experience for both intimate and large gatherings. We visited as a family of 11, including two toddlers, and the experience was genuinely delightful.
Ambience & Seating
The ambience strikes a perfect balance between upscale dining and cozy comfort. The interiors are thoughtfully curated—earthy tones, contemporary lighting, and soft background music created a pleasant atmosphere. Despite our large group, we were comfortably seated at a well-arranged table with enough space for everyone, including high chairs for the toddlers. The staff had also ensured that the table was ready ahead of time, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free.
Food & Presentation
The menu boasts a diverse selection of gourmet dishes with a modern twist on traditional favorites. Each course—from starters to desserts—was beautifully plated and served hot. We ordered a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, and each dish stood out in its own right.
Appetizers: The stuffed mushroom croquettes and butter garlic prawns were crowd favorites. Fresh, flavorful, and gone in minutes.
Mains: The slow-cooked lamb shanks, herbed chicken risotto, and paneer steak with saffron gravy were standout choices. Each had layers of flavor and was perfectly cooked.
Kids Menu: Surprisingly, the toddlers were well-catered with fresh fruit platters, pasta with mild seasoning, and soft breads. A thoughtful touch.
Desserts: The tiramisu, molten chocolate cake, and rose petal panna cotta were indulgent yet not overly sweet. A fitting end to the meal.
Service & Staff
The staff was courteous, attentive, and very accommodating—especially considering we had two toddlers who needed a little extra attention. They frequently checked in without being intrusive and ensured all special requests (like less spice, extra cutlery, toddler-friendly portions) were met promptly. Service time was reasonable despite the size of our group and a moderately full house.
Value for Money
While on the higher end of the price spectrum, the experience felt worth it. The portions were generous, the quality of ingredients was excellent, and the overall hospitality added to the value. For a group of 11, including kids, the meal felt like a well-curated evening rather than just a dinner outing.

The place looks beautiful and they have a good parking space. The pool on the entrance was very dirty. I understand that due to covid, no one enters the pool and so maintaining it isn't very cost efficient, but it looked very unhygenic and isn't something anyone would want to see or breathe around.
The sitting on the top with the outside view is good but the 5 seats near the DJ were pathetic. I wasn't in a mood to fight but the staff said that the volume can not be reduced which was very frustrating. It wasn't possible for a human being to sit anywhere near the DJ. For this reason, we sat inside.
The sitting inside is pretty good. The music was perfect. The service was good. Overall I liked the ambience inside.
Hookas start at 600 and the one we tried was pretty good. Liquor was overly priced for my standards. Ultra was priced around 550+18% VAT. There's no option for a tower. Food is also priced a bit on the higher end but the taste of most of dishes we tried were good. Quantities were fine too. Cigs inside are priced at 300 for a packet.
Overall, my overall experience inside was a 4 star. And outside was somewhere around 2 stars because of the loud music and uncooperative staff(we had other arguments related to table too).
You should try this place out once and see the place for yourself. To me, it was a decent experience but it wasn't such that I'd make it a go-to place with my group all...

Worst service and staff I ever experienced. Honestly, I don't generally give these kinds of reviews, but this time it was a terrible experience. I'm a certified reviewer from goggle, you can check my profile. The worst part was that they said you can give any kind of a review you want, I replied that I know it will not matter to you(the whole cafe) and they casually replied yes sir!!!
Their staff doesn't even know what they are serving and when we told them about the problem, they said that's what we serve... actually we ordered an asian platter and when it came there was no crispy noodles and when we asked about the same, they showed us the crispy(one which we get free in the hawker corners)
We showed them on Google too...that this is not crispy noodles, their staff replied in a weird manner that this is what we serve. Then he kept arguing about the same. Then they served us thin crust pizza...we asked for a normal one(coz it was not mentioned about thin crust and we wanted a normal one) then they showed us the other menu where the thin crust was mentioned.
There were many other things that happened and we argued about all these things for an hour but they were totally rigid in every way....I understand that there was a lot of rush but things can be managed in a respected manner.... totally devastated in every way
Worst...
