Lama Bakery — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

It is located inside this cirbs of Gwalior, not on main road either. But the place is soothing, you'll hardly ever get this word for a Bakery, but it is SOOTHING. It has prime ambience, a variety of Cakes and pastries (BOTH STRICTLY VEG), birthday and party decoration supplies, etc. Most importantly, the staff here is very helpful, polite and modest. I have never heard / seen a scuffle here in last 7 years. They let you decide on the designs and decorations of your cake and offer the alternatives and options they can provide you with. The freshness of their desserts melting in your mouth won't let you go anywhere else after you try it once. Prices are very reasonable. You'll also find a worship spot inside and the hygiene is well- maintained....

I have had both very good and very bad experience at the place. My observations which can help others are

Do not purchase off the shelf cake. It is your luck on freshness of the product. The sponge cake was hard whenever I took it and I regreted later. I would suggest to order well in time Do not ask for customisation as the baker will make the standard products and any suggestions were either not understood or not communicated properly. Do not buy fruit based cakes. They use canned fruit even if fresh is available and the output is usually without any taste.
