I visited this restaurant on 30/12/2022 for a heavy lunch.
The restaurant is based on Rajasthani theme. However, everything was dirty even the seating area. They have a big decorative bowl with normal water without any cleaning kept in front of the dining table. The food was also not fresh. I raised the issue of food quality with the Manager, and both of our thali had lots of food items left as the food was not fresh, tasty or even hot! Moreover both of our stomach got upset the next day.
The do charge more than Ghoomar Restaurants but doesn't provide quality or services. No waiter will attend you. They are very slow and will rarely respond on your call.
Hand wash area is very dirty, washroom stings of urine and it is inside the hotel eating area.
Before leaving I asked the Manager are they having financial issues or going to close it as they are not maintaining it properly.
Apart- We witnessed a family getting insulted by a waiter who complained about food quality. They had a big fight in front of us, which was very weird from the restaurant side. So we decided to peacefully leave after paying due amount and in polite way informed them how horrible the food, washbasin and pillow, cushion and other...
Read moreThey say, "The cover can not replace the books content" which fits the story of this place. Ambiance was simple yet in attractive colors. Entrance attracts a bit and keeps your expectations a bit higher. But once entered in main hall which is mainly divided into three parts; billing, lower seating n higher seating with chairs. Old Rajsthan style furniture which could be improved and maintained based on its age. Walls are bit older and have seepage inside with lots of place having cracks and plaster coming out. Seats were mostly dirty having no-linen covered. Was a bit scared of leaving my small kid to crawl around. Some of the shoes were leaving stinky smells like anything. The floors were dirty to walk without them. Washroom and the basin were as dirty as they could be. Couldn't believe the way they can keep and ignore. Food quality was not even upto mark. The chapati were half cooked and Parathas were so soggy with thick layers of flour with almost same taste for 3 different varieties.
Overall need a big time overhaul and improvements in...
