Mixed Experience at Punjabi Dhaba in Garh

I recently visited Punjabi Dhaba in Garh with my sister and had a mixed experience.

We ordered Masala Dosa and Chowmein. The Masala Dosa was excellent! The dosa itself was delicious, and the red chutney was the highlight—absolutely amazing and flavorful. The coconut chutney was also good, but the sambar could use some improvement to match the overall taste. Still, the dosa paired with the red chutney was a standout and made the meal memorable.

On the other hand, the Chowmein was quite disappointing. It tasted like plain boiled noodles with some green capsicum and lacked flavor entirely. Even after adding sauce, it failed to improve the taste. There’s definitely room for significant improvement here.

The staff behavior, however, was very good, which added to the overall experience.

If you visit, I’d highly recommend the Masala Dosa with that amazing red chutney, but I’d suggest skipping the Chowmein unless the recipe...

Experience: Extremely Disappointing

Our visit to Punjabi Dhaba was a huge letdown. The quality of the dishes was extremely poor. Each item we ordered lacked flavor and texture. The dishes were a mess.

Service: Unacceptable

The service at Punjabi Dhaba was virtually non-existent. Our server seemed completely uninterested in our needs, taking a long time to take our order and even longer to deliver our food.

Staff Attitude: Unprofessional

The staff at Punjabi Dhaba seemed to take pride in their rudeness. When we complained about our experience, we were met with a dismissive attitude and no effort to apologize or offer a solution.

Overall Experience: Extremely Poor

I had a very disappointing experience at Punjabi Hotel. The behavior of the staff, especially the person taking orders, was extremely rude and unprofessional. In front of me, I saw a family leave without even having their meal because of the poor attitude of this staff member. When it was our turn to order, he was equally rude and disrespectful.

Such behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Customers expect politeness and respect, but this place clearly lacks basic manners. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant...
