Shreemaya Celebration — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

I am writing this review after 5-6 visits here. I haven’ tried any main course item here, so if you are looking for a main course review please skip.

Short Review: It’s simply overhyped and overrated by the people

Detailed Review: I have tried multiple snack food items and beverages like Veg Noodles, Veg Manchurian, Veg Burger, Chinese Sizzler, Hot Coffee and Cold Coffee.

Decent Taste and Portion: Hot and Cold Coffee

Bad taste and Portion: Veg Noodles, Manchurian, Chinese Sizzler, Burger

Service: They charge for the premium service, but it is not up to par. You have to literally ask for everything, like they don’t take care of basic things by themselves like fixing a shaking table or an uncleaned table from a previous customer.

Ambience: Just the Ambience is good.

My recent experience was like this: I ordered a veg burger and hot coffee, hot coffee was as decent as always (and this time they didn’t even serve the cookies which they always do, cost cutting at its best) but the burger was a total disaster, it was completely cold and the burger bun/bread was also not fresh (as it was breaking into pieces easily). Now, I informed the manager that the burger is cold, not only the bun/bread but even the tikki (patty), so guess what his reply was he said “The burger is cold because of the mayonnaise put inside it”. I mean seriously what? Then, I also told him that the bun/bread was not fresh, so he started telling me “It has arrived this afternoon only” (I went around 6:30 PM). This doesn’t finish here itself. He asked to replace the current burger which I agreed to. Then here came another burger, and to my surprise it was cooked similarly but just microwaved before being served to me because I demanded a bit ‘hot’ burger (no pun intended).

That’s it, I’m done with this place. I just wanted to write an honest review of this place, you are free to choose wherever you want to go.

Shreemaya Celebration is a bakery shop cum restaurant. Located on main AB road, its easily identifiable. The Parking space is limited to roadside parking lane. There is a guard to guide ur vehicle. No wheelchair accessibility. The ambience is excellent. From the entrance to the restaurant there is a beautiful canopy of potted plants which is absolutely soothing n refreshing. Sitting areas are divided into three parts, one main area and two secluded ones surrounded by more plants. The lighting is fab. As it is open to air, there is no AC, but even during hot summer of May, we were very comfortable (we went in the evening, but temperatures were in high 30s). They have air coolers installed which do a pretty cool job. Its a self-service cum waiter-assisted restaurant. They have 3 counters in a row. One main counter for billing n ordering (u will have to order at the counter. No waiters to take ur order). Second counter for bakery products. And third smaller one for water delivery. The food is tasty n sumptuous. We have been here many a times n they have been consistent with their good taste. On previous visits we had to wait a lil bit before our order arrived, but this time, not much of a delay. Besides, there is a small but beautiful kids area. Our kids enjoy going to this place, partly because of the play area. They have slides n swings and kids up to 11-12 yrs can he a grt time here.

All in all, you definitely need to checkout this joint if u haven't. Its a great place for an evening snack or even a full meal. It becomes a little crowded on weekends, esp sunday. So if u r in a hurry they have...

I am giving 1 star because there is no option of giving 0 or negative here, and the restaurant should thank Google for this.

"I had the misfortune of dining at Sreemaya Celebrations Restaurant today afternoon and the experience was an unmitigated disaster. It was nothing short of a masterclass in poor service and culinary disappointment wherein the service was abysmal, with our server (whom we took an eternity to spot) seemingly oblivious to our presence, leaving us to languish for an inexcusable longish minutes before taking our orders.

The wait times were interminable, with an unacceptable delay, which put me off so much that we had to cancel the meal part of our order. When the remnants of our order (beverages) finally arrived, it was a lackluster, uninspired affair, barely worth the wait.

The staff's ineptitude was matched only by their apathy, with our server displaying a palpable disinterest in our dining experience. When I politely inquired about the delay, I was met with a dismissive shrug and a half-hearted apology.

Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon. The egregious service and glacial pace of the meal made for a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Unless Sreemaya Celebrations restaurant takes drastic measures to address these issues, I would caution others to avoid this restaurant at all costs."
