I'm on sabari malai pilgrimage and serendipitously happened to dine in @ this worst hotel. The very moment I sat on a table which I felt more comfortable the server asked me to switch places, at first I didn't mind his doings. Later I asked for menus and I picked my choice of food(gobi Manchurian) he(server) said that it will take some time to prepare it so you better prefer idli, dosa or chapati which is readily available. I said "no problem I will wait for it so u can proceed with my order". He is repeatedly forcing me to pick either of these 3 dishes. He is very reluctant to take my order and gradually he is forcing me to choose from his personal choices. The very purpose of going to eat in a hotel is to have our favourite food at our will. I lost my patience & reached out to billing desk to convey my grievances instead of apologising for server's behaviour and attitude, he(cash collector) too is vouching for his(server) deeds. He even confessed that it is him who instructed the servers of this hotel to act like this. He added that if they had received my order then the seat will be occupied for more time so the new customers who may be coming after me would find difficulty for their seating. Am I not a valuable customer too? In fact there are 20 other co passengers of my devotional group who are going to eat along with me. I didn't ask for a food which is out of their menu or not available by that time. I'm a paying customer they aren't feeding me for free the server and cashier mistreated me and they didn't even budge to realise their mistakes nor said any condolences. The worst customer service which I ever experienced in my life. They didnt even deserve to get 1star rating. I walked out of the hotel finally without eating anything and waited for my people's to finish eating their dinnes. They too experienced some issues and also said food doesn't taste good. I highly recommend the public to not to eat in this hotel filled with mannerless workers. Incident happened hotel branch is madurai and time occurred was...
Read moreWorst service ever. Especially the old man in the cash counter and the Watch man who doesn't know how to talk to a customer. I was forced to order what is readily available. Even though they have the dish I asked for in their menu.
A mannerless old guy is sitting on the cash counter is on a urge kept asking me if the GPay transaction was successful, as I took jus a 30 -40 seconds to make the transaction. This old guys kept asking me, "is it sent ? It is getting late" for every ten seconds. I have never seen such an impatient human in my life. Also, when I got a parcel token for Pongal, they told me it will take 10 minutes time to prepare. I informed the lady who makes the parcels that I will be back in 5 minutes, in the meantime keep the parcel ready.
When I came back and asked the parcel, she took that parcel literally next to a trash bin and a wash basin. I was shocked and yelled at them. They are justifying that, they wanted to keep it seperate so that it won't get mixed with other parcels! Never ever...
Read moreAs a regular customer of Hotel Saravanas, I’ve usually enjoyed their coffee, especially before the evening hours. However, I’m disappointed to say that the quality of coffee served after 5:30 PM (i.e. Paticular Evening Tea Master) has consistently been poor. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed that the tea master handling the evening session does not pay attention to customer requests, and the coffee lacks the usual taste and quality.
Today, after yet another bad experience, I felt compelled to share this review. It’s frustrating to be unheard, especially as a loyal customer who knows the standard they can maintain. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better consistency and attentiveness...
