"Disappointing Experience - Not Toddler Friendly"
I recently visited House of Paneer in Bibikulam, Madurai, and unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. I ordered the Jodhpuri Paneer Tikka as a starter and the Paneer Tikka Biryani as the main course. Given that they claim to specialize in paneer, I was disappointed to find that the paneer wasn’t fresh; it lacked juiciness, became hard and rubbery, and made it difficult to enjoy. You can see from my photo how the paneer looks hard and rubbery. The biryani itself was one of the worst I’ve ever had—the rice was not cooked well, and the dish was served lukewarm. The pricing was reasonable, but it didn’t compensate for the quality of the food.
While the service was quick, and the ambiance and cleanliness were fine, the staff behavior was disappointing. The waiter was quite rude, especially regarding our toddler. It’s natural for kids to spill water or drop food, but here, we were given "advice" on keeping the table tidy. This behavior is not in line with good hospitality and creates an unwelcoming environment for families.
Additionally, the restaurant has limited seating and no parking space, which adds to the inconvenience. If you’re planning to go with children, I’d recommend choosing another place where families and toddlers are welcomed and treated...

We tried the Baby Jackfruit Varuval, Angari potato, Lahasuni dal, Panner Haundi, Garlic naan & Amritsari naan. Everything was delicious & lip smacking.
For dessert, we tried Basundi & Matka kulfi. Both tastes the same. One was frozen & the other was melted. It tasted ok.
The sitting arrangement was limited. And at the beginning we felt that the waiter was a bit rude but later he was humble.
