Meenakshi Bhavan — Restaurant in Madurai

I don't know how this restaurant got 3.8 rating. At madurai highway we decided to have our lunch at a pure veg restaurant, There were so many Advertisements for Meenakshi Bhavan so thought that would be a good choice,but it was the worst experience for us. Over priced food. It was a dine in restaurant,but they asked us to pay at the counter first and give the slip to the attendant, before that the person who should have made the bill didn't know what was available from the menu. Just for water we waited for 10-15 minutes and the food was horrible, tasteless even though they didn't even care about their customers and what they were asking for. Very unclean table and utensils. Every table someone was shouting for something. Don't over order food. I wish we would have went to any non veg restaurant at least they would give us good...

Service staff very irresponsible and disrespectful to customers. made unwanted fuss about using metal glass for milk. Unnecessary intervention into people's space while dining and conversation. There is a supervisor for the server who is supposedly appointed to monitor the work done by servers for the customer. But I am pretty sure they heard their job responsibility completely wrong. all they do is intervene into the customer's conversations and actions and creating issues and controversies for the customers who are dining in that place. If you want the service providers to budge into your personal space and create irritating environment for you and your family members while having a good coffee, I highly recommend you to visit...

I had an amazing dining experience at this hotel. The place for families and vegetarians. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and served fresh. The South Indian thali was a highlight—balanced, authentic, and reasonably priced. Their paneer butter masala and ghee roast dosa are must-tries!

The service was quick and staff were polite and attentive. I also appreciate that they use minimal oil and no artificial colors, which makes it a healthy choice. The seating area is spacious and they maintain great hygiene standards.
