I often visit Anna Idli, a delightful restaurant that specializes in serving authentic and flavorsome South Indian breakfast dishes. Nestled in the heart of the city, this establishment promised a culinary journey that would transport me to the vibrant streets of South India, starting my day off with a delightful feast. The ambiance at South Indian Sunrise Breakfast was simple yet charming. The bright and airy space, creating an inviting atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxed morning meal. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm spices permeated the air, setting the stage for a memorable breakfast experience. The menu featured an enticing selection of traditional South Indian breakfast dishes, each prepared with care and precision. From crispy and golden dosas to fluffy idlis and aromatic upma, there was a wide range of options to cater to every palate and preference. To kickstart my morning feast, I couldn't resist ordering the Mysore Masala Dosa. The dosa arrived at my table perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, generously filled with a flavorful and spiced potato filling. The accompanying sambar and an assortment of chutneys provided a delightful medley of flavors, enhancing the dosa experience. The combination of textures and tastes in each bite was a true delight. One of the highlights was the filter coffee, a staple beverage in South India. The aroma and taste of the freshly brewed coffee were invigorating, and the traditional method of serving it in a stainless steel tumbler and davara added an authentic touch. It was the perfect way to round off the breakfast experience, providing a comforting and energizing start to the day. The service was attentive and friendly. In conclusion, it offers a delectable morning experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of South India.

Anna used to be my absolute favorite spot for South Indian breakfast—dosa, uttapam, idli, medu vada, all so delicious and authentic. It was my go-to place for years. But something has changed recently, maybe over the past year. The taste has become... confusing. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not the same. The flavors seem to lack the punch and clarity they used to have, leaving me wondering what I’m actually eating. It’s frustrating because I used to love this place so much. Honestly, I don’t plan on going back unless I’m absolutely starving and have no other choice. It’s sad to see such a good place lose its charm. I hope they figure out what went wrong and bring back the magic they once had.

The taste was good but today the taste was very very very bad. No salt in Wada. Instead the road side taste was good. And the person standing in above pic don't check the taste even after telling there was no salt and when i asked bill he told 2 coffee 😂 this tells that he is not at all listening the customer. Go to Sudha or Baburao you will love it. If you go to *Anna* neither you will get taste nor costumer value.

Visited this place after real long time. We ordered idli wada samber, rawa idli, cut dosa, onion uttapa, coffee. Coming to the taste, all the items are really good in taste except rawa idli. Rawa idli we didn't liked much. The most amazing part of this place is they have kept containers full of samber n chutney at each table. Khao Unlimited n wo bhi muft muft. No charges for this extra samber n chutney. The chutney was so tasty n yummy, hum ne pura container Khali Kar ditta 😝 One should try this place...
