Cafe Al-Muhsi — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I recently visited Al Muhsi Restaurant on the night of May 14th, 2024, and unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience with their service. Upon placing my order, I was surprised to find out that customers are not allowed to request beverages such as cold drinks or water from their tables. Instead, we were required to get up, go to the counter, and place the order ourselves. When I questioned this policy, I received a rude response from the staff, exemplified by their statement, "Jo bhi order dena hai counter mai aakar do aise hum laakar dete nahi." This lack of customer service and rude attitude towards patrons is unacceptable. If Al Muhsi Restaurant wishes to retain its loyal customers, they must prioritize improving their service standards. Additionally, I suggest implementing a self-service system if they are unwilling to provide basic hospitality. Furthermore, I urge management to address the behavior of the employee named Tausif, who was particularly impolite. Overall, my experience at Al Muhsi Restaurant was marred by the poor service, and I hope to see significant improvements...

Review: I had an incredibly unpleasant encounter with the receptionist at this cafe, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Upon entering, I expected a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but instead, I was met with rudeness and hostility from the receptionist.

Her behavior was unacceptable and completely tarnished my visit. She seemed disinterested in helping customers, lacked basic manners, and was outright disrespectful when I asked a simple question about the menu.

I believe that the way a receptionist treats customers sets the tone for the entire establishment, and unfortunately, my first impression was extremely negative due to her behavior. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, as it can greatly affect the reputation of an otherwise charming cafe. I won't be returning, and I'd caution others to think twice...

This place is perfect for non-veg food lovers! There are plenty of chicken options, and I highly recommend trying the chicken popcorn and chicken burger.

I personally liked the Kolhapuri rice bowl, which includes rice and Kolhapuri gravy in the same bowl. It’s spicy and definitely worth trying. I also tried the chicken roll, but it was just average.

The seating arrangement is simple and nice, with a separate family section available. You can visit with your family and friends for a great experience.
