Review: Dada Kondke's Bageshree Garden and Restaurant Bar
I had dinner at Dada Kondke's Bageshree Garden and Restaurant Bar yesterday, and I must say it was a delightful experience! The highlight of my meal was the Chili Mili Sabji — absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it had just the right amount of spice to make it memorable.
Along with the great food, the service was genuinely impressive. The staff was attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. It’s not always easy to find places that combine good taste with good service, but this one certainly does.
The ambiance of the garden setting added a nice touch to the evening, making it a great spot for both family outings and casual dinners.
Highly recommended if you're in the area and looking to enjoy some tasty food with warm hospitality!
Would you like me to shorten it for posting on Google Maps or Zomato?

Got it! Here's your revised review without the restaurant name:
I had dinner here yesterday and really enjoyed the experience. The Chili Mili Sabji was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. It quickly became my favorite dish of the evening!
The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without us having to ask twice. It really added to the overall positive experience.
The ambiance was pleasant and relaxing, making it a great place for a peaceful meal. Would definitely recommend trying this spot if you're looking for tasty food and...
Read moreI've been a regular here for over 2 decades now. It used to be our pit-stop on the Bombay-Pune route before the Expressway came up. Even now I take the NH4 towards Khopoli to get to this place for a late lunch. I've tried everything on the menu and following are my favorites:
Chicken Reshmi Kebab (5/5) - this is quite different from the ones you've had elsewhere. Chicken Pahadi Kebab (4/5) - if the Reshmi kebabs are too mild for you, I'd suggest you go with this one. Chicken Maharaja (5/5) - mildly spicy and serves 3-4 people. Surmai and Pomfret Fry Tandoor items are quite good too. Chinese is not their strong suit.
Fish items are priced slightly on the higher side depending on seasonal rates. The overall quantity and quality is pretty decent. Orders take about 20 minutes to be served. You can rest assured that everything's freshly prepared. However, the wait gets to you at times.
If you are here for the drinks, I'd recommend going with domestic alcohol only. Booze is quite cheap. Smoking is allowed, but not in the AC section. Best carry your own cigarettes. You won't find a vendor in a 2 km radius.
Bageshree has abundant parking area. There's a HP refueling station right across which makes it a convenient place for a halt. Another attraction here are the geese. They let them loose in the pond (all 9 of them) whenever it's...
Read moreI have been here a couple of times as it is an hours drive where I live in Karjat. What can one expect on an Old Highway Hotel? One can't complain too much. First and foremost it's is the only decent restaurant for miles in either directions where one can wet one's dry throat with Wine and Whisky. Nothing gives a greater pleasure to one who knows the feeling I am implying here. Rest all the same as a typical Middle Class Restaurants quality found in upteen places around Mumbai/ Bombay. Food is good. Same goes with ambience and parking space. One can also sit outside on the garden lawns during non-rainy season which the staff oblige setting up the table. Good space available for Company or Family get-togethers, small mariage party for around 200 people. Prices are on the higher side considering , but the Hooch compansates all that's left in your Purse, no worries anyway. Dada Kondke was an iconic 5 star of Marathi Cinema, but I am giving 4 Stars for his restaurant which is run by someone else since quite some time. The staff are mostly North Indians managing the Hotel who are courteous and respectful in comparison with the locals found in rest of the places around. To sum it all up, great place, good and worth a visit once in a while ( when you get your Diwali Bonus) with...
