I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the dining experience I had at your establishment, 7/12 Restaurant, in Pune. I regret to inform you that my visit was marred by several issues that significantly impacted my overall satisfaction.
First and foremost, one of the major concerns I encountered was the temperature of the food served. Unfortunately, the dishes I received were not hot as expected. Warm or lukewarm food greatly affects the taste and enjoyment of a meal, and it was disheartening to have such an experience at your restaurant.
Another significant letdown was the quality of the rice. It was evident that the rice was not properly cooked, as it had a hard texture and lacked the desired fluffiness. This made the entire meal feel unsatisfying and less appetizing.
Furthermore, I must express my disappointment with the solkadhi, which had an unpleasant and off-putting flavor. The taste was far from what I have experienced at other restaurants, and it certainly did not meet my expectations. As a traditional and popular coastal beverage, I had hoped for a refreshing and well-balanced taste, but unfortunately, it fell short.
Given these issues, I regret to say that I will not be visiting 7/12 Restaurant again in the future. The combination of not serving hot food, improperly cooked rice, and a disappointing solkadhi flavor has left me with a negative impression of the overall dining experience.
I believe it is crucial for any restaurant to consistently deliver high-quality dishes that meet customers' expectations. I hope you take this feedback into serious consideration and work towards improving the food quality and overall dining experience at your establishment. Consistency and attention to detail are vital aspects that can enhance customer satisfaction...
Read moreWe Went to 7/12 on saturday noon at saswad having heard big hype of 7/12 of kolhapur.
We were 5-6 friends so everyone took a different thali to get better idea and give an honst review
We ordered special mutton thali, dhangari mutton thali, special chicken thali, dhangari chicken thali and veg thali. Rates are very much on expensive side. 450,350,350,250,190 respectively
Coming to the taste, firstly they are giving same rassa for chicken thali and mutton thali. tambda rassa was okay but spices were over burnt that was giving different taste to it which we did not like at all. Alani rassa was okay.
Mutton was not cooked well and i could not able to eat all, moreover the quantity they served was less than expected according to price of the thali.
chicken was too not at great taste, and did not have the magic at all. Mostly because it was not fresh and stale.
Veg thali was priced at 190 rupees, which should have cost not more than 60-70 rupees in my opinion
Coming towards the service part, there are many waiters but none was showing activeness and there was mismanagement altogether. For bhakri we had to wait minimum 10 to 15 mins every time. By that time rassa was getting cold.
They are indirectly forcing us to purchase mineral water bottle as the water they are serving is of borewell, and the bottle costing 30 rupees a liter. what a shame.
I guess they are aware about heir quality of food and service that's the reason they take money first before having food by customers.
We even had a conversation with some locals who had come there for lunch, and did not surprise to find similar reviews.
If they have to sustain then need major changes in such a...
Read moreDisappointing Experience. -Slow and Inattentive Service: My recent visit to Hotel 7/12 was unfortunately a let down. The service was sluggish, with staff appearing unprepared to take orders despite it not being a busy time (only 3-4 other tables occupied). This created unnecessary waiting and disrupted the dining experience.
-Communication Issues: Staff also seemed to be unclear or provided inaccurate information, leading to confusion about the menu or service. This added to the frustration of the slow service.
-Food Quality and Price: The taste of the food itself was a disappointment. While I wasn't expecting the same experience as the original outlet (if there is one), the quality fell short. The dishes were overly salty and lacked refinement, especially considering the price point. Compared to typical thali meals costing around ₹150-₹200, Hotel 7/12's thalis averaged a much higher price of ₹320-₹380. This price difference wasn't justified by the taste or quality of the food.
-Overall Impression:
Overall, my visit to Hotel 7/12 was underwhelming. The combination of slow service, miscommunication, and disappointing food left me feeling frustrated. The high cost only amplified these issues.
-Would I Recommend?
Based on this experience, I would hesitate to recommend Hotel 7/12 to others until they address the service issues and improve the quality and value of their...
